Chapter Fifty: Pre-Wedding Day

Raegan's POV

I woke up in confusion and my head pounding hard against my skull.

My eyes got familiar with my surroundings dings and I scowled at the unfamiliar room…before it all cleared up.

The only thing I could remember was watching the sunset with Gunner before we headed to the bar to drink away or last moments as singles.

We both have come to the agreement that since Lucas wanted a marriage on paper we were going to give him that.

Lazily I lay in bed and just then the unclear memory of Lucas yelling and then following me to my room flashed causing me to scowl.

Was he here or was my subconsciously messing with me?

I sank the tea that was at my bedside before washing up but for some reason, I just didn't feel the need to see anyone.

Everyone was busy in their way…tomorrow was when the reality was going to dawn on me.

My mind flew back to the man that has offered me a way out…brushing the back of my phone where the memory card was…I thought of doing it.
