“2 weeks later”

Adrian’s POV

It's been 2 weeks since my cupcake was brought to the pack hospital. There hasn’t been much of a change in her health besides getting some of her color back, some of the bruises have faded and the tube that was helping her breath has been removed. I haven’t left her side since day one.

I haven’t hardly slept in 2 weeks anticipable waiting for her to wake up. I eat and sleep her and use the hospital bathroom to shower I’m exhausted but don’t want to leave in case she wakes I want to be here when she wakes.

Other than that, I spend every moment here I haven’t seen Lucas and Garrett in a week they have been working nonstop for these past 2 weeks to find information on my cupcake but haven’t been able to find out where she came and how this happened to her or how she ended up in the situation she is in now.

You need to mind link them Adrian my wolf Max says to me you need to see if there have been any updates. I know I need to Max I tell them, but I need to keep all my focus on my cupcake. Just do it Max barks at me I will be alert for our cupcake. Okay Max I say to him and proceeded to mind link them.

Lucas and Garrett come to the hospital room I tell them in a mind link yes Alpha they both respond at the same time. There are you happy now I bark back to Max he lets of a low growl and says yes. About 20 minutes later Both Lucas and Garrett show up looking beat and exhausted I doubt they have had hardly any sleep since this has happened either.

Did you need something? Lucas asks me. Do you need us to watch over her for a bit? Garrett says. I turn sharply towards him my eye turning pitch black indicating Max making an entrance. Never mind the question Alpha Garrett says and my eyes start going back to normal. I just wanted to see if there was any progress on where my cupcake came from. Both of them frown and shake their heads. No Alpha without her name it has been nearly impossible for us to find any information on her.

Why didn’t I think of that I don’t even know her name. I slump over as I tell them grabbing my cupcakes hand praying to the moon goddess that she’ll wake soon. How is our Luna doing? Lucas asks. Still not much different than the last time since I updated you. Lucas frowns and Garrett lowers his head and grabs my shoulder.

As we were sitting there in silence. There was a knock on the door all three of us turn in an instant and realize it’s Dr.Brans coming to check on her. Alpha Beta Gamma she says. I’m just here to check on our patient. We all nod and step back away from the bed. We step back and watch as she checks her heart and lungs, she lifts the blanket to check her incision from her surgery all her reflexes and all her monitors. She turns to all of us and tells us everything is going wonderful for our future Luna.

She’s particularly happy about the monitor that shows her brain activity. Alpha Adrian, she calls out as she realizes I’m just staring at the floor with a blank look on my face. Yes Dr.Brans I look up at her. Come over and take a look I get up and walk to the monitor that’s seems to be going crazy. She proceeds to tell me that this is the monitor that shows her brain activity and tells me that it is showing way more activity than the last 2 weeks. I look up beaming at her and ask does than me she’ll be waking soon. She’s looks and me tells me we only hope so, but this is a massive change and a very good change at that and walks out the door.

I turn to look a Lucas and Garrett with the biggest smile on my face and they both walk up grabbing me in a tight huge. We’re excited for you Alpha they both say at the same time. We stand in a huge for a few more minutes before they released me, and both sat back down next to me and there future Luna. I grab her hand and gently kiss it. I tell both Lucas and Garrett to head to the mall before she wakes and get her whatever she may need take some of the female omegas to help.

They both respond yes alpha and proceeded to the door, but before they could leave all my cupcakes monitors started going off. I turned to look, and I’m terrified right when I turn to look and Garrett and Lucas Dr.Brans rushes in with a whole medical staff. What the fuck is going on I yell trying to keep max from surfacing. Both Garrett and Lucas grab me when the realize I’m running towards the bed. Alpha Adrian keeps calm Dr.Brans says while Garrett and Lucas drag me out of the room so the doctor and medical staff can work.

As I’m outside the room pacing trying to figure out what the fuck just happened, I turn to look and see that my cupcakes heart has stop and the doctor is trying to resuscitate her. I take off running for the door again but both Lucas and Garrett grab me refusing to let go. Alpha they both yell let them work. I can’t just stand out here watching her die. They will get her Lucas says. While they both drag me to a chair to sit. We sat there for what felt like forever before Dr.Brans walks out of the room and over to us.

What happened I ask standing up to look at her. She looks up at me and tells me I’m not 100% sure but I suspect it was her wolf coming back to try and help her heal the rest of the way but ended up putting her body into shock since it has never healed by a wolf before. I look over to Garrett and Lucas who look dumbfounded and then look back at Dr.Brans. So, your telling me her wolf has never healed her before but why. That’s what it appears to be but to answer your questions to why we have no idea it may be from the trauma that her wolf was dormant, or she just barely got her wolf the night you found her and never properly had the chance too.

I just stand there shocked wondering to myself if she just barely got her wolf that night that means she just barely turned 18. How old do you think my cupcake is I ask Dr.Brans. I’m unsure about that Alpha we won’t know for sure until she wakes, and we can ask some questions. She is stable now though and you can head back in whenever you like. Dr.Brans says and walks away Garrett and Lucas walks up to me and starts walking me towards her room. We get back to her room and she looks so peaceful like she is asleep all her monitors are back to normal but the one that monitors her brain activity. I think to myself her wolf must be the one trying to get through to help her heal. Max starts going crazy as we walk closer to her. I sit beside my cupcake and ask Max WTH is going on. Her wolf it’s there I can sense her I haven’t been able to sense her this whole time, but she is there she is trying to heal our cupcake, but she is exhausted and afraid. Max begins to say to me just relax Max, I tell him she will be with us soon I promise and just like that he curled up and went back to sleep.

Garrett Lucas, I still need you to get everything ready for her I have a feeling it won’t be much longer before she wakes up and I want everything perfect for her when she wakes. Yes, Alpha they both say and walk out the door before they completely walk out the door, I stopped them and remind them not to forget to take a female omega for help. They both nod and were completely out of sight within minutes.

I go to sit back down by my cupcake and grab her hand and lightly kiss it I stand up and whisper in her ear. I know you are in there it’s okay to wake up you are safe I will protect you no one will ever hurts you again and with that I say back down grab her hand lay my head on the side of her bed and fall fast asleep.

Before I know it, I get startled by Lucas and Garrett coming back into the room with fresh clothes and dinner I look at the time and realize I had been asleep for a couple hours and it was dinner time. I take the tray and go to sit on the little couch where the table is and proceed to eat. Thank you both I say and ask if they got everything set up and prepared for her. They both nod and I smile everything is already setup in your room Lucas says. Perfect I say.

We continue to sit and eat for a little while when Garrett out of know where ask when we plan to inform the pack of our new Luna. I stop eating kind of agitated that he would ask but understood why the pack has been waiting 5 years for me to find my mate and our future Luna. I look up at him and answer his question as truthfully as I can. With not knowing what she has been through and how she will react when she wakes up, I do believe we need to give her a bit of time to process what is happening. I tell him and he nods in agreement.

It was well into the night when we were done eating and talking about our plans for their future Luna when I finally told both men to head to bed and not to worry about anything else until there future Luna was awake. They both nodded in agreement and said they’d be back in the morning with breakfast. As soon as the left I took my usual spot next to my cupcake and grabbed her hand to kiss softly.

I stood up and proceeded to whisper in her ear once more. Come on baby you have to continue fighting this it’s time to wake up there is a lot of people ready to meet you. With I say back down and grabbed her hand to give it one last kiss. When I felt her fingers twitch, I thought I was imagining things then it did it again and her monitors started going off. I stood up ran to the door to yell for the doctor. Dr.Brans rushes in and proceeds to work on her to stabilize her but little did any of us know she didn’t need to be stabilized she was finally waking up.
