Almost Lost

Waking up knowing my mate is pregnant is the best feeling in the world. I’ve known for a couple of weeks now. Being an Alpha wolf, we can sense our mate’s pregnancy early on way before our Luna’s can, so today I decided that heading into to the office early this morning would be a perfect idea. I would go in early, get off early and spend the day with her since we haven’t had much alone time lately with my duties as an alpha and running the pack and with her learning the Luna duties, we have both been swamped. I hurried on with my work going through file after file of businesses I owned in the city, going through all finances for the pack and paying bills that were needing to be paid.
