Chapter Forty

JASON

"Home sweet home." I said, rolling in my suitcase with one hand, while I held the door open for Elena, with the other.

The house was already cleaned and ready for us, before we even came back. I hadn't really explored the time I had come here, so it was still a little bit new to me.

"Thank you." Elena said softly, before walking past me, while the driver handled her many luggages. If I were correct, then there weren't as many luggages as that, when we had been leaving. I could swear there was an extra bag or two there. It was amusing though.

"Careful." I told her, letting the door close on its own behind me as I stepped inside.

The house was white, gold, and grey. Beautiful. That was all I could say. And knowing the way Elena always looked at decor with critical eye, I was very sure she was going to do something about it, and hoped she like the way the place looked at least.

"Wow.." her voice sounded like she was in awe, which was actually a good sign, giving the circumstance
