“Don’t you think you are going too far with this?“Tyler, who was currently sitting with me in the boardroom, asked. “You told me yourself that you have no proof of her involvement with dad, except your instincts. Besides, she has agreed to marry you, instead of running off with everything. What more do you want?” The tone of his voice told me that he was on the verge of yelling at me, but was just holding back.

I didn’t care though. Instead, I huffed and continued playing with the pen in my hands. “I have made up my mind, Tyler. I’m not going to waste five years of my life with her, when there is a fucking solution to end it way sooner than that.” I retorted.

I wasn’t going to admit it, but I had been boiling with added anger, ever since that episode in her office.

It had strengthened my resolution and put me back on track with the matter at hand.
