"You know you didn't have to invite them for lunch right?" I adjusted the lapel of my suit, eyeing my appearance in the mirror in front of me. "There was absolutely no need for you to make the whole situation more obvious than it already is."

Tyler, who I was talking to, made a non committal sound as he put on his tie. For some reason, he had chosen to dress up in my cabin. And I have a feeling it was mostly to annoy me.

"You and I know that Jane knows everything. Besides, it was all in a bid to give you the chance to talk to Elena, after your crazy stunt," he said, coming up beside me in front of the mirror. "You should he thanking me, instead of acting like it didn't work out in the end." The smug look on his face almost made me tackle him, just like I always did when we were kids.

But he was saying the truth. At first, she had been reluctant to even say a word during the meal, but she had slowly come around, mostly talking to Tyler and Jane.
