Chapter Twenty Nine

"Have you spoken with her since you left?" Tyler asked, giving me a look that told me that he was about to tell me off.

I shook my head. I hadn't spoken to, or heard from Elena since I my crazy outburst the last time we spoke. I had regretted it every single minute since I left, and right now, I ached to see her, but I wasn't going to let my brother know that.

No way in hell.

"No, I haven't." I answered meekly, setting my bag down and using my key card to open the door to my cabin.

The scent of orchids filled the air, which I assumed was from the humidifier in the room.

I actually liked it.

Tyler followed on after me, folding his hands across his chest, as he had already sent his luggages to his own cabin.

"So, let me get this straight. You leave her on her own for days. And then you don't even call to check in. Yet you are on your honeymoon?" I didn't like the tone of his voice, as I knew it was meant to get to me.

But guess what?

It was getting to me.
