I escaped Room 2808 with nothing but a broken heart and a secret growing inside me. Five years ago, I was just a maid. He was Alessandro De Luca, the untouchable billionaire who spent one night with me and accused me of stealing his watch. I ran. Now I'm back. Not as a maid, but as the CEO he needs to save his empire. And I'm not alone — I brought his twin heirs. They have his eyes. His arrogance. His blood. But he doesn't know they are his. "You drugged me, you stole from me, and now you dare to show up as my client?" he snarls, trapping me against the wall of the very same hotel room. I should be scared. But I'm not. "I'm not here for your forgiveness, Mr. De Luca," I whisper with a smile. "I'm here for revenge. And my sons? They are not your heirs. They are my vendetta."

CHAPTER1"ROOM 2808"

The Grand De Luca Hotel never smelled like this from the service hallway.

From the lobby, it smelled like money and lilies. From the service hallway on the 28th floor, it smelled like bleach and damp mops. That was my world.

I was twenty-one. My name tag said ELENA - TRAINEE. My uniform was two sizes too big.

Mrs. Reyes shoved the cart at me at nine forty.

"Room 2808. VIP. Mr. Alessandro De Luca himself. He wants extra towels, extra water, no disturbance unless he calls. You got it? And Elena, do not look at him. Do not talk to him unless he talks to you. That man can buy this entire hotel and fire us with one phone call."

"Yes ma'am."

Everyone knew Alessandro De Luca. Thirty, billionaire heir, face on every business magazine. And I was about to knock on his door.

I pushed the cart. The wheel squeaked. The hallway was too quiet. The carpet swallowed every sound.

Room 2808 was at the very end. Double doors, dark walnut, gold numbers 2808.

I knocked.

"Housekeeping."

No answer.

"Housekeeping for extra towels, sir."

Nothing. But the light under the door was on. I heard low jazz inside.

Procedure said if a VIP does not answer after two knocks, you can use the keycard to leave items at the entrance.

I swiped the master keycard. Green light.

I pushed the door just an inch.

Then the smell hit me. Whiskey. Expensive and spilled.

And a voice. Low, hoarse.

"Who's there?"

"S-sorry sir, housekeeping—"

"Come in."

It was a command.

I stepped inside, eyes on the floor.

"I'll just leave this here, sir—"

The suite was enormous. Bigger than my family's entire apartment. Floor-to-ceiling windows showing the city. Lights dimmed low. A half-empty bottle of Macallan on the table. A jacket thrown on the floor. And on the sofa, a man.

Alessandro De Luca.

He did not look like the magazines. In magazines he was perfect, cold, untouchable. Now his white shirt was open, tie loose, hair messy. His eyes were red.

"Water," he said.

I grabbed two bottled waters, placed them on the table with shaking hands.

"You're new."

"Yes sir. Trainee."

He laughed, bitter.

"Everyone is new. Everyone leaves."

He stood up. He was so tall. I stepped back until my back hit the door.

"You have a name?"

"Elena, sir."

"Elena," he repeated. "Do you know what happened today, Elena? My father told me I'm a disappointment. My fiancée told me she is marrying my cousin. My board told me I am too reckless."

I didn't know what to say.

"I'll go now, sir—"

"Don't. Stay for five minutes. Just stay. Everyone wants something from me. Just stay without wanting anything."

I don't know why I didn't pull away. Maybe because he didn't sound like a billionaire. He sounded like a boy, lost in a room too big.

I stood there, frozen, his hand lightly on my wrist.

Then the door behind me slammed open.

I was thrown forward. My head hit his chest.

A woman stormed in. Tall, beautiful, in a tight red dress. Vanessa Moretti. His fiancée.

Her eyes landed on us. On his hand on my shoulder. On me in my ugly uniform.

"Alessandro? Really? A maid?"

"It's not—" he started, dropping his hand instantly. The vulnerable man was gone. The CEO was back.

Vanessa laughed, cruel.

"This is your new low?"

"It's not what you think," I whispered, tears starting. "I was just bringing towels—"

"Shut up. Do you know how much that watch costs?"

She walked to the table, grabbed a silver watch. Patek Philippe. Worth millions.

"Is this what you came for?"

"No! I didn't—"

Alessandro frowned. "Vanessa, enough."

But she was already walking towards me. Fast. She slipped the watch into the big pocket of my apron. Fast, practiced. I felt the cold metal drop.

I looked up at her, shocked.

She smiled, a tiny evil smile only I could see.

Then she shouted, "Alessandro! Check her pockets! I saw her eyeing it!"

"No! She put it there!" I cried.

"Check," Vanessa insisted.

He looked at me. His eyes were cold now.

"Elena, empty your pockets."

"Sir, I swear—"

"Empty your pockets. Now."

My hands shook violently. I reached into my apron pocket. My fingers touched cold metal.

I pulled it out.

The watch. Gleaming, damning.

Silence fell in Room 2808.

Vanessa gasped, dramatically. "Oh my God. She really did."

I looked at Alessandro, pleading. "Sir, please believe me, she put it there—"

He took the watch from my hand.

"Get out."

"Mr. De Luca, please—"

"I said get out. You are fired. You will never work in any hotel in this city again."

Vanessa grabbed my arm, nails digging in. "You heard him. Get out, thief."

She pushed me.

I ran. I left the cart. Towels fell. Water bottles crashed. I ran down that endless hallway, my shoes screaming, vision blurred.

I didn't stop until I was in the locker room. I tore off the uniform, threw it in the trash. I grabbed my small bag and twenty pesos.

I left through the back exit, into the rainy Manila night, with nothing.

I thought I had lost everything that night in Room 2808.

I didn't know I was also carrying something else. Two heartbeats that had just begun inside me.

That night didn't end with a theft. It started with a lie.

And five years later, I would return to that same hotel, not as a maid, but as Elena Sinclair, CEO.

And I would bring the two heirs he never knew he had.
