"Samantha, can you forgive Mom?"

Samantha cried while holding her mother's hands.

She sobbed and begged her mother not to leave her.

After graduating I started looking for a job and found Henriad Corporation. I applied as a fresh employee and got the opportunity.

"Good morning sir/ma'am" she greeted the employees.

Kelsey her new friend asked. They met on her first day at the company.

"It's okay I'm just a bit nervous about my last interview with the CEO" she replied

As work began She waited in the waiting area for her interview with the CEO. She was nervous and her heart was racing. She didn't know what questions to expect.

The manager called her and she entered in the CEO's office.

"Good morning sir" she greeted her voice trembling slightly.

The CEO turned around faced her and took her application form. He looked directly into her eyes and asked,

"Samantha Lynn Gonzales why should I hire you?"

She was taken aback by the sudden question and felt nervous !Why so sudden... Gosh!!!

"You should hire me because I possess a unique blend of relevant skills and experience that perfectly align with the requirements of this role, allowing me to contribute significantly to your team's success, and also demonstrating a strong work ethic and passion for Henriad Corporation."

She answered confidently despite her nervousness her hands shaking slightly. The CEO looked at her and she felt uneasy under his intense gaze.

"You have a high standard class and a high average. Start working today you'll be assigned to the marketing department. The secretary will escort you there" the CEO said unexpectedly offering her the job.

She was thrilled and relieved.

"Thank you so much sir CEO" she said bowing her head in gratitude.

"Call me Yzak" the CEO said.

"Is that appropriate sir CEO?" she asked.

"It's okay, You can go to work now" the CEO replied.

The secretary escorted her to the marketing office and introduced her to her new colleagues including Kelsey a senior employee. she was very excited to start her new job and felt confident about her future.

After her first day, her colleagues invited her to celebrate her passing the interview. They took her to Daeyang Korean Food restaurant.

while eating and enjoying the food suddenly kelsy talk about the CEO and warned her

"You must be very careful."

She suddenly feel confuse "Why? And for what?" she asked.

"Our CEO is very demanding and serious about work. He's extremely intelligent, with an IQ over 100. He's also very handsome and tall, and many girls in the company have tried to date him, but he's not interested in any of them. That's why we call him the 'Cold CEO" kelsy explain

Samantha felt a mix of emotions upon hearing this. "Really?" she asked.

"Let's celebrate for now! Let's toast again!"

her colleagues cheered and they all clinked their glasses of soju together.

After the celebration Samantha waited for a taxi outside the restaurant.

while waiting her phone suddenly rang and she saw her mom's name on the screen.

"Mom" she said, answering the call.

"Dear it's me your mom. I miss you so much. It's been a year and I've been looking for you. I couldn't contact you on your number. I miss you so much dear" her mom said crying on the other end of the line.

Samantha couldn't hold back her tears, feeling a deep emotional connection with her mom after a long time apart.
