Chapter 5: An Unexpected Twist

Third person POV

The door eventually opened and someone entered and shut the door, resting his back against the door, facing her with a smile.

"Gab, you scared me. What are you doing here at her his time?" Diana asked, heaving a sigh of relief. She had actually thought that she was in danger when she t was only Gabriel, Alpha Raymond's younger brother. Alpha Ray may have sent Gab to come for r her because he had also found out that she was his mate, just like she just did.

But before she could finish forming the thought in her head and smiling at the thought, Gab pounced on her, taking her unawares.

"Gab, what is this?" she gasped. "What do you think you are doing?"

"Oh, stop pretending Diana", he replied as he started fumbling with her clothes, trying to rip them off her "You want this as much as I do".

"Want what?" she shouted. "Are you insane?"

"Insane?" he asked, his eyes wild. "Oh yes, I am insane with need for you. And don't act like you don't feel it too. I have been seeing the glances you have been throwing my way and the way you have been swaying your buttocks provocatively to attract me. Well, now you have my attention and I am here to give you what you have always wanted!"

Diana could not believe what she was hearing or what was happening. She could not recall throwing any such glance Gab's way. Her eyes had always been for Alpha Ray. The thought of the Alpha reminded her of what her wolf just revealed to her.

"You cannot do this to me", she said as she struggled against his unwanted attention, pulling her face away from his mouth as he tried kissing her forcefully. "I am your brother's mate!"

Without stopping what he was doing as she struggled to get away from him, he laughed like someone who had lost it. "You want Ray too?" he asked. "Your innocent looks really fooled everyone. What a slut you really are. Well since you want both brothers as your bed mate, then let me oblige you. I might put in a good word for you before my brother. His mate indeed. How can a nobody like you be my brother's mate? Are you even worthy?

"But I am. You have to stop this, else he will not be happy to find out you are trying to force yourself on me!" Diana tried to get through to him but he seemed to crazed with lust to pay attention and just scoffed as he continued to tear of Diana's clothes.

"Gab, you have lost it. I could never want you if you were the last man alive!" Diana said. She had been holding back, respecting him because he was the brother of the Alpha. But this could not continue. She gave him a resounding slap, hoping it would bring him back to his senses. It stopped Gabriel short but then he became mad as he gave her three stinging slaps in quick succession and then grabbed her breasts through the fabric, squeezing them wildly.

Diana intensified her struggle. She was nice t going to allow this happen.

"Yes, that's it kitten. The more you struggle and wriggle against me, the more excited I become. It seems you like it rough and I am going to oblige you", Gabriel raved crazily.

With a surge of strength, Diana flipped him over and tried to struggle out of his arms so she could jump out of the bed and flee the room, when the door opened and before that could register, a voice growled, "What is going on, here?"

That voice! Diana turned towards the door and right there, standing at the door with a murderous look in his eyes was Alpha Ray.

"Ray, thank goodness you are here", Gabriel said, pushing her aside and jumping away from her, before she could utter a word. "Diana here wants to force herself on me".

"What?" Diana said, her eyes wide, looking at Gabriel in disbelief. She didn't know he would twist the whole thing like that "No, that's no what happened. It is the other way..."

"She sent someone to come tell me to come urgently, because her mother wanted to discuss something with me. At first I didn't want to come, given the time but I decided to come out of respect for her mother and as soon as I got here, she jumped on me and you can see for yourself".

"Gabriel, you liar", Diana screamed. "You knew my mother was not around and came in here without invitation to..."

"But the evidence says otherwise, Diana", Faustina said, shaking her head. "You were sitting astride him, you obviously had the upper hand and from my perspective, you were trying to rid him of his clothes and enjoying it before we got here. Why deny it?"

Diana recalled how she had been sitting on Gab, while trying to fight him off, before the entrance of the Alpha and his entourage, and knew how it must have looked.

"It's not the way it looked", she said, looking at Alpha Ray, hoping that he would at least believe her.

"How exactly is it then?" Alpha Ray asked in a deceptively cool voice.

"Ray, hope you are not going to allow yourself to be deceived by this slut?" Faustina asked. "This is the way she has been allowing the servants to have her. She is always with them according to my sources", she continued and Diana's eyes widened at the slander. "I didn't say anything because it didn't concern me but going after Gab is really crossing the line, Don't ana. Or were you trying to sleep your way to the top?"

"Ray, please believe me. You are my fated mate, why would I want to be intimate with your brother when we are mated?"

"Don't!" Alpha Ray growled. "Don't say the word. You are not my mate. How dare you call yourself my mate. Who do you think you are?"."But we are mated, my wolf just told me that and I am happy that we are, I have always wanted that", she said, sprinting from the bed and running to Alpha Ray, grabbing his hands to show what she meant. The mate bond visible to all to see.

Alpha Ray pushed her away and she fell heavily on the floor. "I cannot be mated to a cheap Omega such as you!" he howled in fury.

"But you saw it for yourself just now ", Diana insisted, as she lay sprawled on the floor, painfully massaging her waist. She had hit it on the wooden side of the bed as she fell. "We are mated. That cannot be faked!"

"Shut up!" Faustina said, hastily. "So what if you are mated? Alpha Ray cannot be with someone of low status as you, and now you have smeared your name by being a cheap slut. Do you want to make him a laughing stock?"she asked, indignantly. "You knew you were mated to the Alpha and yet you got the hits for his brother. You plan to cuckold him if he acknowledges you, don't you, shameless skank".

Diana looked at Alpha Ray, "We are mates, Ray, why can you not believe me? I am being framed here. I have done no wrong!" she asked, looking imploringly at him. "You have known me for a long time. Do you really believe I am the kind of person they are accusing me of being?"

"Of course you are!" Faustina said. "Seeing is believing and action speaks louder than words! And your actions have shown everyone that you are a whore!"

"It is Alpha Ray to you", the Alpha said, an ugly scrawl on his face. "I have said it before and I am saying it again and this time for the last time. YOU ARE NOT MY MATE!"

It was obvious he was very furious and Diana knew what was coming next before he even said it and resigned herself to her fate. 'I cannot eat the left overs of others. So, I Alpha Ray of the Half Moon Pack, reject you, Diana Sinclair as my mate".
