Masuk~Alden~
Alden sat up on his bed, the cool breeze tingling to his bare skin, his midsection to the upper part of his body exposed, white bed sheets covering his waist region. His skin tingled as sweat formed on his body. He dragged his hands through his hair repeatedly, almost in a frantic manner, as the weight of his sickness dragged down through each passing day. “ What kind of decree has the moon goddess made?” he said, scrubbing his hands over his face. His eyes were burning with frustration. “ How do I take back a cheating mate?” his burning eyes gazed at a corner in the room as he clenched and unclenched his fist. He heard a knock on the door behind him, “My Alpha can I come in?” “Come in!” he said, adjusting the bedclothes on his midsection to properly cover his groins. His Beta enters his eyes narrowed around the room before settling on Alden. He cocked his head to the side and his brow lowered. “Greetings my Alpha, you look disturbed, is anything wrong?” Alden's posture remained stiff, his muscles were rigid and his burning eyes remained fixed on a spot. "Alden!.., Alden!,” his Beta leaned in closer, waving his hands over Alden’s face. Alden let out a deep sigh, then he clamped his palms together with his elbows resting on his lap, his eyebrows drew together, “Everything is wrong, my Beta, I think My illness is getting worse, I don't feel better after the medicine… the moon goddess decree… How do I even find my mate?” his lips pinched together and his jaw clenched. His Beta let out a heavy sigh, his gaze darted to Alden and he placed his hand on his shoulder “ Don't worry we will find her.” His Beta relaxed his muscles, straightening out his coat and his gaze shifted back to Alden, “The Council needs you right now.” *** Alden emerged in the courtroom, three council elders sat on armchairs adjacent to Alden. A shadow of unease crossed the Elders' faces as they glanced at Alden. As Alden sat, one of the elders cleared his throat abruptly and he began to speak, “Greetings, Our Alpha, We are here today for an important message.” Alden sat with tension radiating from his stiff posture. The Elder studied Alden’s appearance with a flicker of disapproval, “You don't look okay…I mean Silvercrest can not be led by an Alpha looking like this.” Another Elder nodded in agreement, his tone heavy with expectation and pride.“Since your father, Silvercrest has been the greatest of all packs and cannot afford to lose that respect.” The last one leaned forward and adjusted his thin-rimmed glasses, his tone was firm, “You have to find your mate, we need an heir, even though she might have wronged you…it is the moon goddess's decree and there's nothing you can change about it.” Alden clenched his jaw, the weight of their words settling heavily on his shoulders, brimming with a surge of frustration. Alden cleared his throat, “I have heard you all, Silvercrest pack must not fall… I will do my best to find my mate.” *** The sun cast long shadows on the outside of Silvercrest pack. Alden sat on his Court throne, his fingers gripping the armrest tightly as if holding himself together. Unease churned within him as his eyes flint around the scene before him. The pack armies gathered in front of him, with varying degrees of loyalty and concern, with his Beta at the front of them, his posture rigid. “I gathered you all today because I need to search for my mate, the one who was banished…,” Alden began his tone carrying bitterness, with a tinged of hesitation. “I know this news might be a shocking one, it was to me too…” He paused, the bitterness in his voice leading to a suppressed anger, “but I can't let the silvercrest pack fall all because of a Cheating Mate which the moon goddess has asked me to search for.” His tone became hardened and authoritative, “So by tomorrow night, you all are to go into the woods to find Dana, you will be led by the sentinel.” After Alden finished addressing the armies, he dismissed them with a curt wave. Just as he was coming out of the courts and heading to his chambers, his Beta walked silently behind him. They both heard the faint sound of footsteps of someone leaving hastily. “Who’s there?”Alden demanded sharply, his gaze filled with suspicion as his body tensed. He began to turn towards the source of the sound, his gaze narrowing in unease. His Beta quickly Interrupted, raising a calming hand, a nervous smile tugging at the corners of his lips “My Alpha no need to worry, that might just be some… erm…maybe some animals having their time,” his voice carried a hint of anxiousness yet his eyes darted towards the shadow. Alden’s lips pressed into a thin line, feeling reluctant to drop the matter clear, he gave a curt nod and resumed walking. Unease flickered in his chest as he walked toward his chambers. As they walked further into the corridor, his Beta cast a knowing glance toward the dark, his expression portraying a hint of hidden loyalty. In the shadows, a pair of piercing blue eyes gleamed watching Alden and his Beta walk away. The Beta gave a subtle nod to the unseen figure acknowledging the figure, before returning to his composed demeanor. They walked further into Silvercrest pack, with the Beta gaze flickering around the surroundings and tilting his head to the side to observe if anyone might have seen a trace of his hidden communication with the unknown person.“ Leave please ,” Alden’s breath was ragged, his eyes burning intently at Dana as he started walking close to her. Dana legs fixed to the floor, her heart was turned apart. She Didn’t know if he was going to hurt her, she slowly Shuffled her feet backwards till she got close to the wall where she couldn’t move anymore, then she rested her back on the wall with fear in her eyes. Alden kept going close to her, his eyes still fixed on her, he was struggling so hard. He was almost near Dana but then he turned past her and went through the door instead. Dana heaved a deep sigh that she didn’t know she was holding.she closed her eyes tightly and started following Alden from behind. Her eyes met Alden's body as he moved in the bushes. She hasten her steps so as not to lost track of him. She continue following him from behind, deep down in her thoughts she doesn’t even knows what she is trying to do. She can’t change him, neither can she help him. Just as these thoughts deepe
Alden growls, adrenaline rushed through his veins as he pounced on the Figure. The figure gives way and Alden missed his step, his Body landing on the floor. The figure chuckled, he flexed his muscle, he walk slowly towards Alden. He yanked him off the floor, he throws his body, hitting the wall heavily. He grips Alden by his neck, holding his head up and punching it continuously. Alden breath etched, his body was weakened, his face was swollen and there was blood sliding from the corner or his head. The figure wipes the blood that was on his knuckles. Alden tried to fight back but he couldn’t stand up, his legs were weak. The figure yanked his body up again and pushed him to the floor. Alden grunts as his back hit the floor. His heart was pounding In his chest. He couldn’t fight back, he was trying his best to gather his strength but the pounced on him were too sudden, his body was weak. The figure walked slowly to Dana, his gaze was fixed on her, his eyes were
Alden's hands were trembling, he didn't know what he should do. Dana's shoulders were tight, her breath bursting in and out. She shrunk her body in , keeping her back to the wall. Her eyes were staring calmly at him in a pleading manner. “ Strike!, ” the figure voice commanded Alden, his voice was sharp giving Alden some sought of adrenaline that is causing an alertness to pounced on anything before him. He felt a sudden burst of power surging inside of him, threatening to burst out. He rolled back his shoulders, his muscle tightened. He flexed his fingers and muscles,he lifted his chin high and bared his teeth. “ Arrg,” with protruding eyes,he screamed, his claws started Coming out, and his canine began to slip out. He began to shift but his wolf form didn’t come out fully. He started walking towards Dana, his hands were trembling. Dana sat where she is, she didn’t move, she stare deeply at him, not that she wasn’t scared of his curent state, but a part of her tru
Dana went back to the tent, her feet were heavy as she walked slowly towards the tent. She reached the entrance and halted her steps. Her eyes were glossy, she stare at the tent in admiration. There was really nothing to admire there, because it was just an old tattered abandoned tent. But her eyes were fixed on it. She looks at it like she has found a treasure, like this isn’t the first time she has seen it. In her heart she wonders if she hasn’t find this tent, there will be nothing for how to settle at night, to protect her from the cold and the dangerous beings in the woods. She felt something wet on her cheeks, she didn’t even realized she was crying. It seems so ridiculous that she is crying over a tent. Deep down she knew it will be hard to survive in the woods without any shelter and even without her wolf thriving inside her. The first time she encountered that was when Milan came to save her. She still wonders how she is still able to survive till this point.
She went back to the tent she had found in the woods. She couldn’t sleep, her muscles were tense. Any moment she attempts to close her eyes, she keeps seeing Alden In haunted state. He was becoming more ragged and ragged like he was becoming to turn rogue in her mind. Dana shook her head slightly as she thought about that. “ No,” she muttered underneath her breath, something like that must not happen. She clasped her hands together,“ we will rule our pack together as the great Alpha and Luna.” But she needs answers, she needs to know who is doing this to Alden. She squished her brow together, as her thoughts deepened trying to figure out who could be doing that to him. It could be that the person wants to be the Alpha, but Alden doesn’t have a sibling that must be threatening him to have the position. She fixed her gaze on a spot thinking about the problems. Who then is after Alden? Something click in her memory she remembered An old ally. He used to be Alden’s
Dana left the elder’s place, her shoulders slumping on her side as her head fell down. She doesn’t want to lose the mate bond, but now the bigger problem is looking for Alden, he seems so lost that he barely even remembers her. Now how does she even make Alden remember her. She tries to figure out the spot where she had seen Alden last. She caught a glimpse of him and she began to follow him from behind. He wasn’t stopping, he continued walking . Dana walked very closely to him, she started seeing his full body. This time he was different than before, even the last time she saw him. He looks more haunted and lists his thoughts. He sat down in a log wood, pointing into the air and muttering some gibberish underneath his breath. Dana stopped right on her track, her gaze deepened at him.Her eyes was watery as he stared deeply at Alden. Alden didn’t notice her presence. She walked slowly, going closer to him. She finally got to where he is, she stood at his front. “
