I went upstairs and climbed into my old bed, where Carlos had been sleeping. There was a knock on the door, and Marco came in.  "Are you okay?" He asked.  I nodded.  "Damn Maria, you really pissed him off this time."

"He'll get over it...he always does."

"Maria...he sees this as betrayal... As a lie...He told you no, but you did it anyways...What you did...its treason!"

Carlos came in and crossed his arms.  "Maria...I have to stay here a few days to sort out some stuff with your parents will...This house goes to you and your sisters, but since none of you are part of the Commission, it will be given to your Uncle...You will take the plane tomorrow and go home...you will stay with Madre until I or Marco  return....You are under house arrest as of now.  You are not to leave the tower..You are grounded!...Do you hear me? "
