Chapter:- 13

Friday evening is hectic as usual. People rush to get off work and enjoy their weekend, so the traffic is non-forgiving. Emma looks out the window to see the sky turning gray. It's going to be raining soon, and the Omega despises that. She hates being alone while the sky pours down its contents and the colors outside are nothing but black and gray. It only serves to remind her of how pathetic her life is and how she is actually a lonely married woman.

Her taxi stops at a coffee shop next to his building. Emma pays the taxi driver before rushing into the shop. The moment Emma steps in, her nose is attacked by the delicious smell of brewing coffee and freshly baked pastries. She looks around the luxurious space and immediately falls in love with the ambience. No wonder the coffee shop is always full of customers. However, luck is definitely on her side when the place isn't as full today, maybe due to the impending rain.
