Ash dropped to the ground immediately as Ray leaped over him and tackled the other gnag had been trying to sneak up on him from behind. Ray stood up and flicked the blood and slime from his hands with a look of disgust on his face. “These things are disgusting. I need an actual guns,” he complained.
“There you are, sweet boy,” Bright replied just as a sword appeared in Ray hands. Then the Bright was right back to blasting slime car away from himself with his usual efficiency and flair.
Ray eyes widened in appreciation. “This could work.” He swung the knife around, slicing through a nearby slime wall with ease. “Yes, this will definitely do. Gracias, Papa!””
