Chapter 4: Claiming his Fiancee

Watching her getting bullied makes him mad. But looking at the way she handled things makes him grin. Even Assistant Gonzales was surprised at how she handled things and at the way the bouncer drags the man out and not her. It seems that the employees are serving her well instead of the people who bullied her.

"Sweetheart!" Everyone stopped talking when he called her.

"Mr. Lawson! He's Marga's fiancé." He ignored everyone and walked towards her. She didn't turn to him but he sat on the stool next to her. He reached her chin and made her face him.

"Good that they didn't scratch your face." He leaned and kissed her beautiful nose. Everyone was stunned.

"Didn't you say that she's Marga's fiancé? How—why is he flirting with her?"

"Did she seduce Mr. Lawson?" everyone started gossiping.

"I will settle our date tomorrow, how about that?" he smiled at her and his face got gentle. She raised her left brow.

She signed the barman and he immediately took out a paper and a pen. She scribbled on it and he took it. Making him more amused.

"But everything is settled, sweetheart. We will get engaged in two months." He murmured to her.

Still, he couldn't stop studying her features. She's a hell of a beauty. He wonders how sexy she will look and sound when she speaks. But everyone knows that she's muted.

"Not Interested." He chuckled and told his assistant to call his driver to pick him up in an hour. The assistant nodded and he dismissed him.

He reached her soft hair that is now free from ponytails. He is so eager to bring her to his bed at that moment. He would do anything just to make her sleep on his bed. He suddenly grabbed her waist and twisted her body to him. She looked at him calmly and had that same poker face.

"Sweetheart, we have slept once before, we can sleep together again. What do you think? Bit your lips if yes and lick your lips if no." She scoffed and tried to push him, but he held onto her tightly. "Okay, maybe not tonight." His phone chimes and he checked it. His driver is already outside. Has it been 58 minutes?

How long has he been staring at her beautiful face?

"I'll bring you home." She turned from him and wrote on the paper.

"Okay," he reached her personal phone and used her finger for the fingerprint to unlock it, he typed his number and called it. Then he saved it with the name Hubby. "Call me when you get home." He kisses her lips. Just a wet dump and told the barman. "Call me when she leaves the bar." The barman nods. He kissed her lips again and she didn't say or do anything.

He left the bar satisfied and when he got to his Sedan, he immediately texted her.

Gabby: I'll wait for your message tonight. (With an emoji of kissing)

Gabby: I'll bother you if you don't text me. I'll meet you tomorrow. Good night.

What a pain in the ass! She wanted to block him but she didn't. She just read his message and Whiskey came and told her that Tequila is in operation theater with the best doctors. She just nodded, finished her drink and went to the powder room to do her business.

She suddenly felt dizzy and sneezed three times. Washing her hand, she ignored the females going in and gossiping about her. She left the bar to the parking lot.

On getting out, it's freezing. It had stopped raining and she straddled on her big bike.

On her way home, it started raining heavily and she sneezed multiple times, while getting drenched. Damn it! She isn't feeling well at all. After she took a warm bath, she dried her hair and was about to sleep when her phone rang.

The name Hubby makes her nose cringe. She answered it.

"I have been calling you for ages. I guess you are already home. I'll pick you up tomorrow so we can settle a date." She rolled her eyes and hung up.

There are at least 20 missed calls, she ignored it and went to bed.

She was already sleeping but everything feels hot.

She felt the hot prickle of fire on her skin as she coughs feeling suffocated. She coughs and coughs murmuring. Calling her mother.

"Mom?" She screamed and crawled on the floor still searching for her mother. She stopped seeing Dior's shoes walking and the shocking sight of a gun. Tears rolled down from her eyes to her cheek as her mother's body fell down to the floor and she turned her head to her direction.

"I. Love. You." She mouthed the words weakly and said. "Run." Then her mother slowly closes her eyes. She didn't think twice about running towards the balcony.

She ran over and jumped off the balcony and into the water. She was drowning there and just closed her eyes until she was pushed by the waves to the beach and there she heard someone's voice calling her name.

"Sabrina." An old man in white hair called her.

"Sabrina." She gasped and opened her eyes seeing Enzo. "Hey." He hugged her. "I am here." He might have felt that she was having a nightmare. That's their link. The triplet's mind link. "Damn you are burning." He immediately called for the maid to bring warm water and medicine.

And at that moment his phone rings. It is Ethan and he immediately answered it while the maid wiped her to lessen the heat. She drank the medicine and immediately fell asleep.

"How's Brina?" Ethan asked.

"She had a high fever. Probably because of last night. She's also having a nightmare…" Enzo exhales. "When are you coming home?"

"I am currently on my way back. I heard from dad that we will have a family dinner before the Engagement party." He pauses for a while. "Gabby told me that he will marry her. Just as we both expected."

"So, can't we do something about it?"

"From all of the men—I trusted Gabby more however, I don't trust him entirely. Brina can take care of herself and we are always there for her. I'll let Gabby marry her. I think she can handle Gabby since we don't have a choice. Besides, if she's with Gabby, her money is safe and other real estates in her name."

"Hmm, I understand. Be careful on your way, bro."

"I will." Enzo hung up and dismissed the maid. It's too early yet its time for the maids and butlers to prepare food for them and the guards.

He turned off the air conditioner since it is still raining outside. He slipped on the bed with her. Extending his arm to her, he lent his chest to be her pillow. Back then, when one of them had a high fever three of them would, in turn, have it.

Or when one of them has a fever the other two won't have and vice versa. Sabrina kept having fever continuously after their mother died. Just a nightmare makes her burn up and both of them will lay with her on both sides to comfort her.

He also went back to sleep until he was disturbed by a ringing phone. He groggily looked at her phone and frowned at the name Hubby. He heard from Whiskey that a man hooked up on her and even put his number on her phone claiming her as his fiancée. It must be Gabby. He answers it.

"Are you awake? I am here to pick you up." Gabriel said from the other line.

"I think you might have to cancel that?" Enzo spoke.

"Yeah. Just cancel it." Enzo said nonchalantly.

"I'm on the driveway," Gabriel said.

He hung up as he washed his face and mouth from her bathroom and wiped his face with a damp towel and threw it into the laundry. He strode toward the living room and met Gabriel wearing his suit with flowers and chocolates.

"You are making me laugh," Enzo said.

"Please, don't hold it," Gabriel said with a grit. Enzo did laugh out loud and pulled out his phone and took a photo of him in a swift movement. "Where's my fiancée?"

"Are you sure that you don't want to change fiancées? I mean, Marga is into you and my sister is muted and will never speak again."

"My fiancée? Are you hiding her from me?" Gabby smiles coldly like a devil.

"Of course I am. She's sleeping. Let her be." Enzo said and waved him off.

"I want to see her." Enzo shook his head stubbornly refusing him.

"Call your sister," Fernandez tells Enzo.

"She is unable to get up from the bed. She has a fever."

"What?" Gabriel frowned and gave Enzo the flower and chocolate. "I will see her." He said immediately and went to the west wing without anyone's consent.

"You are making my head...ache!" Enzo said aloud to Gabby and wanted to punch the man...
