My life, my destiny, my plans, everything is betraying me. Never in this time of my existence had anything ever gone this badly opposite of me. And since my fate was on some kind of bet with someone, it's breaking all the records to get worse.

I wanted to meet that girl and make her back out of this marriage. But I was so caught up in Dad’s accident video and George Lopez that I couldn't even find a single spare second to meet her. The week flew by in a blink and now I had just one day to convince her.

Telling James to postpone all my meetings for today, I drove straight to her house.
