Chapter Fourteen

Sarah arrived at Daniel's apartment, her grip tight on the glass of juice, her expression strained as she tried to calm the storm of anger brewing within her. Daniel lounged on the opposite couch, his features relaxed, yet his mind racing as he contemplated his next words.

In the charged silence, Sarah's knuckles turned white around the glass, her jaw clenched to suppress her frustration. Meanwhile, Daniel's brow furrowed slightly, his eyes scanning Sarah's face for any sign of softening before he spoke.

"We almost got caught today," Daniel murmured, his brow furrowing with serious concern.

Sarah's eyes widened in confusion and frustration as she set the glass of juice down with more force than necessary. "What do you mean? Are you worried about your other women?" she snapped, her voice sharp with accusation. "Or are you already tired of me?" Anger simmered beneath her words as she pleaded for clarity. "I don't understand why we're still hiding our relationship. It's time to go public
