Anderson stood by the window, peering through the glass with concern etched across his face. His wife lay still on the bed, her complexion pale and her lips dry. Despite her condition, her beauty remained evident, her features maintaining their grace even in slumber. She had been unconscious for over an hour now, and Anderson's worry only grew with each passing moment.

He felt a pang of guilt gnawing at him as he struggled to keep his composure. He had attempted to enter the room several times, only to be thwarted by various obstacles. Each failed attempt left him feeling more helpless than before.
