Chapter 20

"My baby, I've missed you so much," my mother's voice filled with love and yearning met my ears as I felt her warm big arms embrace me like they always did. 

Just that single hug took me all the way back to when I was just a small child. I felt like I was going down memory road, remembering the days when my mother would be there whenever I needed her. 

"Mama, do you always have to be waiting for me?" I asked my mother as I threw my schoolbag off my shoulder. 

"I know, baby, but you've been working so hard and I know school's been tough for you. You're writing trials now and I can see that you're not sleeping," she said softly as she took my hand and led me to my bathroom. 

"Aww, mummy," I cried out as I saw the bubble bath she had set up for me, "mama, you didn't have to. Thank you so much!"
