And, she is selfish too

Marisa gave Safira's query some thought before responding with a slender smile on her lips. "You'll learn more about that guy, I promise, eventually." Her smile changed when she raised the upper lip corner.

Safira knew Melisa's friends in this small town, and she had never met any of her sister's friends who seemed kind and sincere, much less a friend who lived in the capital, so it was only natural that she had doubts about her sister's comments.

Safira's expression of surprise caught Marisa's attention, and she worked hard to persuade her sister that she shouldn't be suspected. "Don't you think I'm a fraud? Do I appear dishonest and evil?" asked her while lowering one eyebrow.

"Yes, I will believe you and you do lie to me and mistreat me, but not necessarily." With a real smile, Safira retorted that she needed to end the conversation to depart the little town on time.

She found Marisa's initial presentation to be extraordinarily generous, and she is now prepared to depart. She is sincerely appreciative of Marisa's many presents, which she has received.

Since there are no cabs in this area and only buses and private automobiles are used for long-distance travel, Safira will make the first bus ride to the airport; nonetheless, she is still grateful to Marisa for what she was able to obtain.

She received complimentary airline tickets, allowing her to save money for the cost of renting a home in the capital.

"I'm very appreciative of you," She is overjoyed and gives Marisa another hug; she will fly, she will stay in a five-star hotel, and she will have access to all of these things for free, all thanks to Marisa; she had never even imagined any of this before. To her, Marisa is an angel today.

"Marisa!!" From above Jang's home, a woman shouted. Marisa and Safira were taken aback by the high-pitched voice of Tina-mother of Marisa.

"What are you two doing in that place?"

"you're here chatting while I was looking for you around, head out to the backyard right away to join today's vegetable harvest!" Lisa and Safira were given instructions by Tina.

"Oh, mum, please don't make too many jokes; why should a gorgeous and appealing woman like me have to do that job?" Safira typically helps Tina with all the labor, but not today, Marisa noted glumly, adding that she dislikes filthy work involving soil since it can hurt her skin and she looks sloppy.

"You look neat, where are you going, and what's wrong with your clothes?" With a snarky expression, Tina asked while pointing to Safira. "What are you wearing?" Tina was taken aback by the outfit Safira was sporting.

"What a lovely dress—where did you get it?"

Marisa could see that Safira would find it difficult if her mother intervened, so she came up with a plan to divert her mom's attention and exonerate Safira.

"Mom, oh my God! What's that on your back, exactly? Is that an insect? "Marisa yelled as she pointed to her mother's back.

"What! What? There's a caterpillar there! Oh no, take it, leave it!" Marisa used this tactic to induce her mom to rush inside the home and scream for her father to save her mom from the caterpillars since she knew Tina was afraid of them.

Tina was equally as distraught and was screaming in terror.

"Listen carefully, I'll help you with your work and I'll give you a good reason not to get caught by my mom, so you better get going," she said. Marisa instructed Safira to get off the bus in a whisper, and Safira did so right away.

Tina yelled not long after she returned to the outside and stood at the first of the stairs with untidy hair.

"Where are you going, Safira? If you leave, who will prepare meals, clean the house, and do the laundry?"

"Aunt, I'm sorry, but I have to leave since I'm going to college." She responded.

"Hey! I don't care about your school. You must remain in this city and work for me because you will never be prosperous!"

Safira finally sat down in her seat on the bus without saying a word. She was disappointed by Tina's remarks, but she had no choice because that was the way her aunt was.

"Mother, don't worry about that, let's go to the garden beyond the house; I will help with your work." As she ascended the steps, Marisa said.

"Why did you permit the girl to enter the city?" Tina yelled at her daughter fiercely. He could have been a free servant here, and you should have stopped her because of how strong she is!

Marisa grinned hesitantly, but her eyes widened when she noticed something on the stairs. What, a plane ticket, why did Safira leave that, she thought. As she began her automobile to catch Safira's bus, she hurriedly grabbed Safira's ticket that had been left behind.

Marisa sprinted away as Tina scowled at her. "Bad girl, you promised to help me, but you left!" Despite her overweight frame making it difficult for her to run, she screamed and descended the stairs; however, by the time she reached the bottom, Marisa's automobile had already gone.

"Oh, you damn girls!"

"Hey! Dispatch that bus! Stop!" Safira was seated in a bus when Marisa screamed and increased her speed, causing the driver to quickly halt, which caused all the passengers on the bus to tremble.

"Jesus! Why is that car there?" The bus driver growled in frustration.

Marisa boarded the bus and began searching for Safira.

"Safira, you forgot your plane ticket, oh no!" She was relieved to have located Safira, who had been given the ticket.

"Oh my gosh Marisa, I'm so thrilled that you delivered this aircraft ticket, and I'm so lucky to be your sister," said Safira after checking her bag to confirm that the plane ticket was indeed what she had left.

Marisa nodded before leaving Safira and the bus and returning to her home.

"I'm finally free of the old bastard, yes!" When she saw her mother standing and bending down to greet her, she stopped being happy that she had been in the car.

"Why are you playing games with me, Marisa?" After chasing after her daughter's car for some minutes, Tina shouted angrily, her hands resting on her knees.

"Oh, mum, I was just testing my automobile, let's get the vegetables out now." Happily, Marisa said.

"Go to the salon and take care of your appearance; you must be lovely and seductive because we still have three days to dazzle your future husband. Why does your face look happy; you should be worried; Safira will arrive in the capital and she will snatch your future husband."

When Marisa heard her mother say, "Phew, I wish Safira met him first," she simply shook her head. Without her mother's knowledge, she growled quietly.

"Safira will not succeed and won't be as fortunate as you, so why would she want to go to school?"

Marisa liked the way Tina made fun of Safira.

"Certainly, mum! Let Her experience the capital's extreme hardship." Reply to her.

"Yes, we shall witness her suffering and unhappiness, and you will grow up to be a princess and wed the city's prince, making you a wealthy woman!" Tina smiled as she spoke.

"Mommy, you're right!" Marisa answered sluggishly.

"Ah, when will the airline tickets for business class arrive? He promised to provide all of that for us, didn't he?" Tina inquired.

Marisa told her mother to wait for three days, but in reality, she had already obtained the plane ticket and given it to Safira secretly.

"Did he also send presents and money? He assured me he was serious, right?" Tina re-asked.

"Yes, mom, I'll look over everything, but before I depart, I got an urgent call," Marisa made an effort to evade and flee.

"Marisa! You filthy girl!" Marisa had managed to flee in a car, and Tina was furious.

Marisa inhaled deeply before reading the message on her phone—it was from her boyfriend—in which they had chosen a location for a date.

"I prefer to date someone I know rather than an unknown stranger. I looked up his name on G****e and discovered that he is already 67 years old. I'm a very intelligent and clever country girl, not a dumb and trusting one!"

The Jang family received a mysterious letter and gift from a man named Chenly in recent months. The letter contained a proposal and matchmaking; no specifics were provided, but the man sincerely desired Marisa as his bride. He enquired as to the dowry the Jang family desires and promised to make all necessary arrangements.

She accepts the match between Mr. Chenly and her daughter, Marisa. Tina is a hard-working woman who is obsessed with wealth; she enjoys receiving numerous expensive gifts even when she has no idea who sent them. For her, it would be wonderful if her daughter married a wealthy man from the capital city, but, unfortunately, Marisa doesn't want to do so.

Marisa took a glance at Chenly's profile; while the man's wealth was unimaginable, she declined when she saw his picture and realized how old he was.

"It must be difficult to be a well-liked, attractive girl like me since he is a toothless grandfather who is also elderly and whose penis is weak and unable to support himself."

Safira inhaled deeply, reflecting on Marisa's fate: "In this little place, when girls start to become age 20, it's only normal that their parents seek to find a matchmaking for their daughter."

"Fortunately, I was able to leave this place; nevertheless, Marisa will undoubtedly suffer since she is not ready to get married."
