Sara’s POV

The room’s attention shifted sharply to her, curiosity and confusion rippling through the guests. Reporters, ever eager for a story, pressed closer, their cameras flashing.

“What are you talking about, Nora?” one reporter shouted.

Nora’s eyes narrowed as she pointed directly at my hand. “She’s wearing the ring that should be mine!”

All eyes turned to the ring on my finger. The murmurs grew louder, questions fired from every direction. “Wait, is she engaged? Zack, is this true?”

Zack tightened his grip on my hand, his jaw set in determination. He stepped forward, his voice steady and clear. “Yes, it’s true. Sara is my fiancée. We will be married in a month’s time.”

The room erupted in a frenzy of flashes and questions, the reporters pushing forward to capture every detail. Nora’s face contorted with rage. “This isn’t over, Zack! You can’t just replace me and expect everything to be fine!”

Before she could cause any more of a scene, security moved in, gently b

Sara’s POV "I met Zack at a time when I needed someone the most," I began, my voice steady despite the nervousness I felt. "Our relationship may have started under unusual circumstances, but what we have is real. We've faced many challenges together, and through it all, our bond has only grown stronger." I glanced at Zack, his eyes filled with encouragement. "Zack is not just my husband; he's my partner, my confidant, and my best friend. The love and support we share are genuine, and nothing can change that." Our lawyer guided me through my testimony, ensuring I highlighted key moments that demonstrated the depth of our relationship. I spoke about the nights we stayed up talking, the way Zack supported me through my fears, and the love we have shared. When Zack took the stand, his demeanor was calm and confident. "Sara is my wife in every sense of the word," he said firmly. "Our marriage is not a sham, and anyone who knows us can attest to that." He spoke about our shar

Sara’s POV "Derick?" I said, my voice laced with confusion. He smiled sheepishly. "Hi, Sara. Hi, Zack. I know I'm the last person you expected to see, but I wanted to apologize for everything." I glanced at Zack, who looked unimpressed but stayed silent. "It's fine, Derick," I said, deciding to accept his apology and move forward. "Let's put it behind us." Zack's jaw tightened. "Sara, can I speak with you for a moment?" he said, his voice low and controlled. We stepped into the hallway, leaving Derick standing awkwardly by the door. "Why are you so quick to forgive him?" Zack asked, his frustration clear. "When I make a mistake, you take forever to forgive me." His words stung, but they also made me realize something important. "The reason I react that way with you, Zack, is because I have feelings for you. Derick's actions didn't hurt me the same way because I don't have feelings for him." Zack's expression softened, and he nodded, understanding dawning in his eyes.

Sara’s POV As the kiss lingered, time seemed to blur. The world outside, with its chaos and uncertainty, fell away, leaving just the two of us in a cocoon of solace. When we finally broke apart, I looked into his eyes, searching for answers in their depths. "I didn't think it would come to this," he whispered, his breath warm against my skin. "But I need you to understand something." I nodded, sensing the gravity of his words. "What is it?" He took a deep breath, his hands gently cupping my face. "There’s more at stake here than just us. What we have—what we’re building—it's important. But it's not just about us. It's about the choices we make and how they impact everyone around us." I swallowed hard, feeling the weight of his words. "You’re right. But I don’t know if I can face it all. Not after everything that’s happened." He gave a reassuring smile, though it didn't quite reach his eyes. "We don’t have to face it alone. We have each other. And if we stand together, we

Sara’s POV After Zack’s reassuring words, I shifted away from him, suddenly remembering our ongoing conflict. My emotions were in turmoil, and I felt the need to distance myself. I moved quickly to our bedroom, leaving Zack standing in the hallway. Moments later, he followed me, his expression filled with remorse. “Sara, I’m so sorry,” he pleaded, his voice soft and sincere. “Please, let’s talk.” I turned to face him, my heart aching with a mix of love and frustration. “Zack, I don’t know if I can trust you anymore.” He stepped closer, his eyes filled with regret. “I made mistakes, and I know I hurt you. But I want to make things right.” The sincerity in his voice melted some of my anger. Slowly, I allowed him to close the distance between us. His hands cupped my face, and he kissed me gently, as if seeking my forgiveness. I responded to his kiss, feeling the passion and desperation behind it. Our lips moved together, and soon the kiss deepened, igniting a fire between

Sara’s POV I did not know when I slept off but I woke up later, feeling groggy and more irritated than ever. The events of the past few days had left me emotionally drained. My mind kept circling back to Steph’s suspicious behavior and the phone call from Nora. I couldn't shake the feeling that something was terribly wrong. As I got up from the bed, I decided to go downstairs, hoping to clear my head. I walked into the kitchen and stopped short when I saw Steph standing by the counter, her back to me. She was on the phone, speaking in a low, conspiratorial tone. “I’ll keep an eye on her,” Steph said, her voice dripping with malice. “Yes, I’ll monitor their movements and report back to you. Don’t worry.” She let out a sinister laugh, sending a chill down my spine. My anger flared, and I took a step forward. “Steph, who are you talking to?” Steph jumped, nearly dropping her phone. She turned to face me, her expression shifting from shock to feigned innocence. “Sara! I didn’t
