CHAPTER 18

ASHINA’S POV

After Farkas had left that day, I did not hear about him until now. All of a sudden, the door flung open.

Farkas stood in front of me, his arms crossed over his chest, his expression a mix of frustration and entitlement.

“You lost your manners also, Farkas? Couldn’t you knock?” I asked with a straight face.

If he wanted to fight, I was not going to back down. Thankfully, today he was accompanied by no one. Of course he should not. He had realised that things could get worse if anyone else interfered in our business.

His voice, dripping with authority he no longer had over me, filled the room.

“We need to divide the property,” he demanded, his tone firm as if expecting me to comply without resistance.

Farkas was more shameless than I thought. Instead of begging, he was imposing as if my wealth belonged to him… as well!
