ASHINA’S POV

The battle had begun.

''Are you all ready?'' I asked.

''Yes!!!'' Was the reply from all the soldiers.

The spark and energy were amazing. This was what I needed; a highly motivated troop. In my heart, I knew that we would not be defeated today.

I closed my eyes, prayed to the Moon Goddess for our victory and I thought about my family; my pretty mother, my brave father and my courageous brother.

Although they weren’t with my physically, they were around. I could sense their presence and I could feel their blood running through my veins.

As planned, my forces had cut off the enemy’s water supply, and the impact was evident.

''Beta! I-I don’t know why our water supply has been cut off!'' I heard one of their soldiers shouting.

That was a splendid move in the early hours when at this time, every soldier would be awake to have a bath and drink plenty of water.
