Chapter 23 - Nightmares

Nisha's POV

We are finally finished after a lengthy awkward atmosphere of eating our meal together. And now I'm washing the dishes after cleaning the table. Dum had gone to his room after eating, so I was left to clean and wash the dishes in the sink.

" Finally done" I said to myself happily that I am done with washing the dishes.

When I was checking to make sure everything was in order in the sink. I finally returned to the living room where I had left my luggage since Dum had ordered me to move more quickly earlier. When I arrived, I noticed Dum sitting on the couch, watching TV with a solemn face.

" Ah, sir, where is my room?" I asked Dum in a low voice.

Dum didn't answer, instead he got up from the couch and walked into the small hallway of the house. I just followed him quietly while I brought my luggage with me.

"This is your room," Dum remarked, pointing to the area of the room where I would be sleeping.
