Dhruv's Pov

When I told the squirrel that I was only riding because I needed to go somewhere. It was a lie I told her so she wouldn't think I came because I wanted to get her on my own. I was likewise taken aback by my behavior, in which I abruptly lay down on the squirrel's lap. I have no idea why I did such a thing.

Even so I just ignored that part of me asking and just lay down carefully on her lap as I tried my best to keep my eyes closed as I pretended to rest. I can feel her stare on my face, which makes me uneasy, but I also liked that she is staring at my face.

"Squirrel, if you keep gazing at me, I'm going to melt," I whispered gently, my eyes still closed.

"Ah!" she exclaimed, surprised, "you were awake sir? I am sorry for staring; I just saw some dirt in your face and was unsure whether I should wipe it myself or let you know about it." The squirrel quickly explained why she was staring at me.

"Then you clean it for me squirrel" I replied to her without care.
