Chapter 14
The entire day Iris was kept inside the room locked. The opportunity she got only when the maid came for the last time to give her dinner. Since morning she wasn't fed at all. Grabbing the chance she sneaked out of the room and hid behind a pillar at a distant corner. If she would have known that the monster's room was on the same floor, she would have never tried to run away. Her escape plan failed but her attempt made Dimitrios angry ten times. Someone was creating nuisance below his nose wasn't accepted at all. He was already frustrated and Dan's betrayal made his mood sour. Reaching his mansion when he found that Iris was also going beyond his expected level, he couldn't control himself.
"Why are you shouting now? Are you scared now?" Dimitrios asked through his gritted teeth dragging her body harshly by her arms. His bruising grip on her wrists turned her pale white skin into red already.
