Meet Again

Green was sleepwalking, Alta could not reach her, where he went until he did not text her back. What he was doing until he could not reply the message that probably spent only a second.

Feeling tired of waiting for anything about Alta, Green distracted her mind from always focusing on it. Green was silent for a moment, her memory went back to the incident, like she knew a guy who helped her a few minutes ago, looked familiar, but she could not remember where she ever met him. "I think I'd seen him before, but where was it?" Green asked herself.

The unread book on her hand since before, Green smiled at it, especially at quotation written on the cover. "For those who have been hurted in the past," stated the quotation. From the very first glance, the novel has intrigued her. Green laughed at herself, her past was not beautiful, she had a lot of bad memories, and to get to this point it was not easy for her. The gratitude she had expressed to herself was a form of appreciation for her enduring to this day.

Green continued walking along with a big smile like she was just receiving a positive energy injection until she finally got to Cherry's house. A clean-white house with decorative plants and miniature fish pools and fountains made Green's eyes stayed staring at it, again and again she looked at the address and home number given to her. This was her first visit to Cherry's house, during which time when they did the duty always staying at Green's house.

"This is the right address, but it's so quiet." Mumbled Green to herself.

Green decided to call Cherry "I'm in front of your house now," said her once the calling was connected.

"Just comin Green, I had told the security, the door also was unlocked, I am taking a bath," said Cherry.

No wonder Green heard the sound of water, Cherry was in the shower. “Oke, I'm comin.”

“Sure.”

“Sir, I'm Green, a friend of Cherry.” Green was introducing herself to the securty who was keeping in front of Cherry's house.

“Yes, welcome, please comin. Mrs. Cherry is in,” said the security with a friendly smile while widely opening the gate.

Green smiled slightly and walked out to the cherry mansion. The first view she saw was some family photos and paintings on the wall and various furniture, Green guessed all the furniture in the house were expensive stuff she could never afford to buy. Her attention came to an antique jar in the living room, Green took a close look at it. Realizing that what she was doing was rude, Green backed up, deciding to wait for Cherry on the terrace while looking at the decorative plants in the yard, what a truly refreshing view, it refreshed her eyes.

Green flied away with the green view in front of her, she did not realize that Cherry was standing beside her. "Whoa seriously, what are you looking at?" asked Cherry. She wore a typical housedress shirt and shorts with bee - patterned yellow hair sandals. Her long hair was curbed with a thin makeup on his face.

“Let's comin this way.” Before Green had a chance to answer that question, Cherry pulled her into the house.

“Cher, your house is very big and large but why is it really quiet?” asked Green, wondering why no one else was inside that big house.

“Yaps, that's it, there only helper and some securities who keep in front of my house. I live with my elder brother, Langit, my mom and dad are ini Bandung. "Haven't I told you this before?" asked Cherry while opened her room.

"Not yet," Green answered shortly.

"Yeah, so here I am with my brother. It's one of the consequences of going to college in Jakarta, so I have to stay away from my parents."

Green nodded his head. "It's okay, it's just Bandung-Jakarta, not really far."

Cherry wrinkles up her lips. "It's still not living at one house."

"Be patience, it won't stay long."

“Hmmmmm,” said Cherry while invited Green into her room.

"Comin, Green.”

In the room of Cheery, Green was featured in yellow. Yellow linens, yellow dolls, yellow thick large fur carpet, as well as other items that were in the same color too. The room was immaculate with some living plants inside, Green saw an orchid facing the window, remembering her dead mother who also loved orchid.

“You want that flower? If you want it, I will ask uncle Ujang to bring it for you, in front of my house are still there,” said Cheery who saw Green's eyes light up at the sight of her yellow orchid.

Green did not answer, her eyes filled with tears because of remembering how the mother had cared for the orchid so wholeheartedly until it flourished. "What happened to you?" asked Cherry who caught Green's sadness in her eyes that looked lighting up before.

“It's nothing, Cher.” Green wiped away her tears.

"Ahhhh....let's get started, it shouldn't be too late." Green said as she pulled out her laptop and stationery inside the bag.

Although cherry understood there was something Green was feeling, she was reluctant to ask any further questions because she appreciated Green's privacy. Cherry and Green were sitting on a feather carpet with some snacks and a can of soda. "Green, you can help yourself to anything in the refrigerator, make yourself at home, please. Okay?"

Green was smiling slightly. “Oke.”

"So, what novel do we want to analyze?" said Cherry who began trying to focus on their original goals.

"This," Showing the novel she bought. Cherry who saw the novel gave green a hard look. "You really want an analysis of that novel?"

"Yes, so what?"

"Ishhhh, how about another book?"

"Anything wrong with this? anyway, you said it is up to me," Green said, she did not want to lose, she spent a lot of money to buy the novel, she would not let it go to waste because of Cherry.

"It's a novel, a novel of my brother, I have more than one at home."

"Huh?" Green did not understand what Cherry was saying.

Cherry was staring at Green. "Mr.Langit and my brother, Langit, are the same person Green."

"Then the novelist and our professor are also the same person."

"That's it."

No wonder Green felt as though she had met the man who had helped her before, after recalling that he was a young college teacher. She admitted, honestly, that her teacher's performance when he was on campus with the off-campus was quite different, but she barely recognized him. But wait a minute, if Mr.Langit is Cherry's brother, did that mean he lived in this house?

Green knew that Cherry had a brother who was a professor, but because she did not get too close to her before this assignment, she did not know that the older brother was Langit, neither did he or she ever show up their status on campus.

Green stared at the novel's front cover, with the initials LDA in front of it. Cherry who caught the confusion of green immediately went up. "LDA, Langit Danendra Adyaksa."

Green breathed in and breathed out slowly. "Why didn't you tell me you had more than one? You know I don't have to buy it."

"I don't know your choice falling into this novel."

Green took one look at the novel in her hand and then took it out on Cherry. "So how's this?"

"That's no problem, your own don't even have to be opened, it can be sold again."

"Good idea," Geen replied with a bright smile.

The sound of knocking the door stopped their conversation, Cerry could guess that it was Langit, but why would he come to her room? usually when there was need Langit would call and ask her to come to his room. "Come in, Bro, the door's unlocked," said Cherry from inside the room.

Soon the door opened, featuring Langit figure with a black shirt rolled up to the elbow and black jeans and vans' shoes. "I want my LP charger back now," blurted Langit.

Cherry stood up and gave the LP charger that Langit meant to. "Why do you come here, usually when you need anything you will call me?" asked Cherry with a look of astonishment.

"I called so many times but you didn't answer it, so I come here."

"I'm sorry, Bro, I didn't hear that because there is my friend. Green, this is Mr.Langit in the version of home.” Cherry introduced Langit to Green while Langit just realized there was someone else in the room.

Green, felt the call, came closer to Cherry and Langit at the door, smiled randomly while rose her hand. "I'm Green, Sir."

Langit took Green's hand and shook the little one. "Hi Green, nice to see you again," he said with a growing smile.
