Epilogue Part Two

It was a long distance between the labyrinth and Lappa, but I managed to make the trip in half a day with my running and desire to see Melite and our son. I let out a breath as I reached the top of a hill and looked below to the small farm. I saw my son pushing a blow through a field, his ivory fur reflected the sun, and I could see the hints of his mother’s honey blonde in his mane.

He has grown to be a strong young man. I smiled proudly to see how the fussy baby taken from me almost sixteen years ago had grown so well. My attention was pulled from my son as the door to the house opened, and Melite stepped out. She was still as beautiful as the first day I met her. Her hair piled up, showing her slender neck, a bright smile on her face that reached her beautiful blue eyes as she called out to our son.

That. was. AMAZING!! I legit cried when Melite had to go. Oh I hope someday we get to read about Astarion meeting his other children and reuniting with the people he saved and loved.
