Twenty Eight

           

The sunlight made its way into the bedroom, and I could hear the birds singing from a far distance. I felt sore and my body ached in a good way. 

I remembered last night, how I cried when I felt the pain that comes with  the very first stage of love making, how Kene wiped every tear away and told me the pain was an inevitable one, he didn't stop apologizing, he kept asking if I was okay.  I remember the way every movement of his large hands made me tremble.
