Laila_Ali313Hello everyone! Assalam alaikum! This is the second last chapter of Attraction. The next would be last. I really apologize for such a late update. I know it took me two months to update. But I feel life can change in a few seconds and maybe take months to recover from it. I thought writing could become a source of solace for me, for me to overcome what I've felt just in those few seconds... but no... whenever I opened this laptop my memory would drift towards those moments that I so want to overcome. I've become a couch potato. I was not able to utilize my mental faculties properly. I wanted my mind to be consumed in other stuff, passive stuff that wouldn't require active use of brain and that's why I didn't write. The next chapter is last.

Attraction 60. Reunion
Few Months LaterRoshanay had lost all the hope. She has become a walking dead body. Her eyes were dead. She didn't want to live anymore. That night, not only she lost Moosa but also the child in her belly. Because of her injuries, doctors couldn't save the baby. While the injuries Moosa sustained left him in a coma. After that night, he didn't open his eyes again. Days turned into weeks and weeks into months but he didn't speak again. Roshanay remained beside him. Never leaving him even for a few moments. The hospital staff had lost all the hopes that he'd ever wake up again. He had still not recovered from the injuries he got when he was getting Roshanay back from Iran and on top of that he got newer ones. Roshanay felt like she was bad luck in Moosa's life. Because of their love, Moosa had lost a lot. A lot. Not just his father but also his hold over Tehran. And since then he had been struggling to get power over that region. Roshanay rolled down the steep hill. Her body an unconscious mess. She couldn't get a hold of anything that happened moments ago. She was sitting with Moosa, imagining a new life with him, the ways through which she'd tell him that she was Nur and now she had no clue where she was. Where Moosa and rest of her family members were. A pain erupted from her back, under her shoulder blades. She knew it was a bullet wound. The pain was unbearable for her. She looked around to spot Moosa but he was nowhere to be found. The area was utterly dark that she couldn't see anything. She just rolled into a foetal position and hoped she'd be found soon. The world spinned around her and before she knew, she had lost consciousness. As soon as her eyes closed, Sohrab came and stood at the top of hill. He turned on his torch and circled the light around the area to notice if Roshanay was there or not. A rope and a gun in his free hand. He and the small group of armed men he had created had murdered
Attraction 58. Healing & Chaos
SEVERAL DAYS LATERThe whole family had gathered in a farm house to celebrate Farah's birthday and departure. Alizeh, Moosa, Roshanay, Afsheen and Dilshad. Farah had made all the arrangements. She also had invited other friends to the party so it wasn't an exclusive family event since the room was full of people who were dancing and enjoying themselves under the disco lights and rock music. Moosa sat one corner of the room. He wasn't interested in attending the event but he had to because of Roshanay and Alizeh. He needed to protect them personally and that was why he had to come here. The threat of Burhan still lurked around. After that incident, Burhan had disappeared. He was nowhere to be found. As if he had gone under hiding or just disappeared in thin air. Moosa looked at Roshanay who had a smile on her face. She was beaming with joy and his eyes softened looking at her. A few days passed. Moosa did not tell her the exact date when he'll be taking her to the clinic. But everyday, she could feel that the day was nearing when she'd have to let go off this baby. And the feeling was horrible. Roshanay did not look for Moosa's attention anymore. She had locked herself in a shell. She has noticed how Hafsa would whisper with Hamdad on purpose that Roshanay will always remain a prostitute in Moosa's eyes. And the proof lied in the fact that Moosa wanted to kill that baby to remove her past from this world, hence their love was conditional. Roshanay heard it but never really pondered much over it. She knew Hafsa was doing it on purpose and she was least of her worries but she couldn't ignore the fact that Hafsa was telling the truth. It was evening, when Hafsa and Hamdah were cleaning her room and the door opened. Roshanay was laying on her bed, invested in her thoughts but she sat up as soon as Moosa entered. She was still adamant for not aborting the child. She told him that he wanted to give birth to the baby who had no fault in all this. An innocent soul. Just like her. The baby related with her than any human being ever could. Over the days, she had developed a bond with this creature who sometimes responded to her whispers by showing slight movements. Moosa wanted it gone but Roshanay wanted to keep it. And Roshanay still thought the reason Moosa wanted the baby gone because he was still very hesitant to accept her with her past. If he brought her back, then he should also be willing to own up every flaw of her. To this world, the baby was indeed considered a flaw. Just like Roshanay's whole life was. When Afsheen came back, she had tears in her eyes that she was cleaning. Moosa quickly stood up and went to her asking if she was alright to which Afsheen nodded.
