LOGINSEVERAL DAYS LATERThe whole family had gathered in a farm house to celebrate Farah's birthday and departure. Alizeh, Moosa, Roshanay, Afsheen and Dilshad. Farah had made all the arrangements. She also had invited other friends to the party so it wasn't an exclusive family event since the room was full of people who were dancing and enjoying themselves under the disco lights and rock music. Moosa sat one corner of the room. He wasn't interested in attending the event but he had to because of Roshanay and Alizeh. He needed to protect them personally and that was why he had to come here. The threat of Burhan still lurked around. After that incident, Burhan had disappeared. He was nowhere to be found. As if he had gone under hiding or just disappeared in thin air. Moosa looked at Roshanay who had a smile on her face. She was beaming with joy and his eyes softened looking at her. Evev if he'd be given the combined time of every human on earth, he would still not consider it enough for t
A few days passed. Moosa did not tell her the exact date when he'll be taking her to the clinic. But everyday, she could feel that the day was nearing when she'd have to let go off this baby. And the feeling was horrible. Roshanay did not look for Moosa's attention anymore. She had locked herself in a shell. She has noticed how Hafsa would whisper with Hamdad on purpose that Roshanay will always remain a prostitute in Moosa's eyes. And the proof lied in the fact that Moosa wanted to kill that baby to remove her past from this world, hence their love was conditional. Roshanay heard it but never really pondered much over it. She knew Hafsa was doing it on purpose and she was least of her worries but she couldn't ignore the fact that Hafsa was telling the truth. It was evening, when Hafsa and Hamdah were cleaning her room and the door opened. Roshanay was laying on her bed, invested in her thoughts but she sat up as soon as Moosa entered. Both the women scurried out of the room.Rosh
She was still adamant for not aborting the child. She told him that he wanted to give birth to the baby who had no fault in all this. An innocent soul. Just like her. The baby related with her than any human being ever could. Over the days, she had developed a bond with this creature who sometimes responded to her whispers by showing slight movements. Moosa wanted it gone but Roshanay wanted to keep it. And Roshanay still thought the reason Moosa wanted the baby gone because he was still very hesitant to accept her with her past. If he brought her back, then he should also be willing to own up every flaw of her. To this world, the baby was indeed considered a flaw. Just like Roshanay's whole life was. And for this reason, she didn't want to let it go. It was hers. Truly hers. It's fate akin to what she has been through. Without even realizing, the baby became a part of her and now whenver she thought about letting it go, she couldn't muster up enough courage to do that and that was
When Afsheen came back, she had tears in her eyes that she was cleaning. Moosa quickly stood up and went to her asking if she was alright to which Afsheen nodded. She just said that she became a little emotional. "Alizeh, you can spend some time with your mother," Burhan told Alizeh who quickly nodded in eagerness, stood up and held her mother's hand. "We can go to my room." Afsheen suggested with a smile and they both went to her room. Moosa looked at Burhan and said, "I'd like to talk with you, Burhan." And Burhan nodded his head, "let's go." Moosa led Burhan to his study. Occupying his position, he looked at Burhan who was atlast seated in front of him. "Now tell me, Moosa Khan, what's that you want to talk about.""Release my sister." Burhan had a neutral expression on his face. "She is my wife and soon going to be the mother of my child. I can't let her go." "I accept every condition you've and in return divorce my sister." Moosa stated again. This time with a clearer voi
Terrifying. The only word that crossed through Roshanay's mind when she stared at her brother looking at Alizeh while she hugged her brother and her mother. Then Alizeh came and wrapped her hands around Roshanay, giving her a tight hug that Roshanay felt in her bones. Alizeh's hand that were fixed at Roshanay's back shivered slightly and she wondered did Moosa too notice that?Alizeh wasn't crying. She had a bright smile on her face. A smile that failed to reach Alizeh's eyes. Anyone could see. Her face was paled despite the makeup she had put on. Burhan's eyes noticed each and every action of hers and Roshanay could feel that Alizeh walked as if walking on egg shells. When she broke the hug, she stepped back and smiled brightly at Roshanay again which Roshanay returned. "I missed you so much, Alizeh." "Me too, Roshanay." Then Alizeh's eyes moved towards Moosa who had his eyes fixed on his sister. A little shocked. A little surprised. And a little too much in pain. Just like Ros
'Always protect my Alizeh' His father's last words and that's what he failed to do. Moosa took in a deep breath to control his emotions. There was still a lot on plate when his phone rung. He picked it up when a familiar voice entered his ears. "Bhai?"(Brother?) "Alizeh? Bachay how are you? Are you fine?" Moosa sat up on his chair. "I am fine Bhai. I want to talk about something with you.""What is it, Alizeh? Tell mem" "Actually... Burhan said that you don't want us there. He wants to come since Roshanay invited but he says its your home and he still needs your permission to visit." Alizeh's voice was small. Hushed and breathless."Tell him to send you alone. I'm not interested in meeting him." "But... I can't come without him."Moosa perched the bridge of his nose, closing his eyes momentarily, "you both can visit." "Thank you, Bhai.""It's your home, Alizeh. You don't have to thank me.""I have to go now. Allah hafiz Bhai."And the call was hung.Moosa stared at the phone
