Xlynor's POV

“Fucking stab you! Arsehole, monster!” That was the first thing I heard the moment I stepped foot into the training hall.

I paused, my brows furrowing. I told that little menace to come to the gym, yet she came to the training ground instead? How dumb could she be, and what exactly was she up to?

I followed the sound of her grunts and curses, walking towards the main practice ground, and then I saw her, sword in hand, doing silly moves with all seriousness.

Ivara's POV“Shit!” I couldn't believe my eyes. Never once did I think I'd be here, running for my life because this psychopath of an Alpha had turned me into a moving target for his amusement. How could someone wake up with such a foolish idea and then turn it into one of the fun activities on his bucket list? I was wrong. He was indeed creating a death list, not a bucket list.I thought it was a joke at first — until he released the first arrow, which I missed by barely a second. He meant it. I was his moving target.“Last one, incoming.” I heard him say, and I began running again.Fucking unbelievable and stupid. I gritted my teeth. The last arrow flew over my head and finally I stopped running. I wasn't even able to catch my breath when I fell flat on the ground, pretty exhausted.I knew that psycho was only toying with me. He only turned serious when he noticed I was reluctant to move. That’s how I ended up with arrows grazing my skin and injuring me.“Exhausted when we aren't eve

How dumb could she be, and what exactly was she up to?I followed the sound of her grunts and curses, walking towards the main practice ground, and then I saw her, sword in hand, doing silly moves with all seriousness. The only thing separating us was this white transparent curtain, separating the weapons from the practice ground.I didn't interrupt, I just stood behind the curtains, my shoulder leaning against the pillar with my eyes focused on her.I couldn't deny the fact that even though her moves were silly and weak, she still had some skills and if honed, she could get better.A few minutes into watching, and I knew that if I didn't interrupt, she wouldn't stop with her eyesore of a training session because her back was turned t

  • Auctioned Bride Of The Cursed Alpha    Chapter 35: Breaking Character

Ivara's POVMe? Taming me?I tried talking back, but the gag didn’t let me, and when I tried to move, the belt bit into my skin. Xlynor had tied my arms so tight that it hurt when I moved.Psychopath! I cursed inwardly, then tried kicking him, but he caught my ankle, squeezing it with a smug smirk on his face before pushing it back into the car.“The more you resist, the more excited I get,” he mumbled, before slamming the door shut. The drive to wherever he was taking me felt endless. I had no idea what he was up to and him taking me unaware like this left me restless. My thoughts drifted to Eryndor. I hoped Zane — or whatever his name was, wouldn’t hurt him.Xlynor had his gaze fixed ahead as he drove like he had just escaped a mental institute.Worse, I couldn’t even scream at him to slow down because of my stuffed mouth, so I only shut my eyes while trembling hard and waiting for whenever we would crash. The car came to an abrupt stop, causing me to jerk forward. Slowly, my eyes op

Ivara's POVNo, no, damn it! Why did he have to come in now? Why would he even come over to Eryndor's place? I thought they hated each other.I was literally trembling at the sight of him. And no, it wasn’t about me. I was scared for Eryndor. What if Xlynor decided to hurt him even more? Xlynor was unpredictable, and his calmness scared me to the bone.Eryndor tightened his grip around me, nestling his head in the crook of my neck without a care in the world, like Xlynor wasn’t even here.Xlynor's jaw ticked and his eye twitched. Fuck! Even though he had this relaxed face, I could tell that he was up to no good, and it made my stomach knot.“Stop, stop it!” I wriggled against Eryndor before managing to pry myself out of his strong grip.I jumped up from the bed, my chest rising and falling heavily. “I'll… I'll wait outside.” I gulped, my head bowed. The words had barely left my lips when the door was slammed shut, so loud that I flinched in fear, trembling harder. Now what was that dem

  • Auctioned Bride Of The Cursed Alpha    Chapter 33: Guilt

Ivara's POVI stood behind the curtains, unable to bring myself to step into Eryndor's room.We had ended up in his quarters — though “quarters” hardly described the space. It was a freaking villa. The surprise Granny Jojo talked about was him regaining consciousness.Of course, I was happy— genuinely happy. But how could I show him my face, knowing he was in this situation because he tried to help me, yet I couldn't even escape. No, I couldn't. I preferred the unconscious him. It would’ve been easier to talk to him that way.I heaved a sigh, peeping through the tiny gap in the curtain.“Why isn't she coming in?” I heard him ask weakly. My brows furrowed. Who? Was he expecting anyone? He turned his face to the curtain and I quickly stepped back.“You're just going to keep peeping through those curtains? Come on in, it's fine,” he muttered.I stepped further away, pressing my back against the wall. Was he referring to me? Did he see me already? No, it couldn't be. Granny Jojo promised n

  • Auctioned Bride Of The Cursed Alpha    Chapter 32: Liar

Ivara's POVCleaning felt ten times harder. I couldn’t move. I couldn’t even think. All that occupied my mind was my encounter with Xlynor.Everything seemed weird and absurd to me. Why was I so free with him, to even stay relaxed and let him touch me?The worst part wasn’t that he touched me… it was that I didn’t want him to stop.I felt a cold sensation wash over me just by thinking about it.I rubbed my palm over my face, inhaling deeply. “That bastard probably did something to me with his powers. So much for being so powerful with magic,” I scoffed, rubbing my neck.Surprisingly, after he did whatever he did to my neck, the tattoo stopped hurting. He probably healed me or something. But why? I didn't even tell him it was hurting.“His fingers were so cold, almost like ice. He was probably exuding his healing power,” I mumbled to myself. That was the best explanation for whatever had happened some hours ago.He froze me, manipulated me with his powers, then healed me for reasons onl
