By the time I made it to the hospital in a taxi. I was already seeing and hearing things.

I could literally hear people arguing from miles away, not to mention, perceiving the sweet aroma of cooked steak and sausage from the restaurant from across the street as the car drove by.

At this point, I was totally convinced that something horrible was wrong with me and it has everything to do with this terrible ache on my shoulder.

Gosh!

I just hope the doctors will be able to fix me or treat whatever infection the stupid bite was turning into because I can't take it anymore.

I dragged myself through the entrance and over to the counter and registered my information with the lady behind the desk before proceeding to wait for my turn by the chair in the corner just like everyone else who had gotten there before me.

My phone hasn't stopped ringing ever since I got here but I couldn't take it out or even look at it.
