“You need to take your medicine, love” I said softly. I handed Grace her medicine and she nodded, taking it from me. Her eyes staring into space as she drank her medicine before laying back down, hugging her blanket. Her face emotionless as she laid still; the doctors have given her something to calm her down, and she’s been in this state since.

“Don’t leave her side, and if she needs anything; just call me” I told the nurses who nodded. I walked out of the room and back to my and Alessio’s bedroom. I had missed laying in my husband’s arms for hours, doing nothing, just laying there, and right now; I would be lying if I said that I didn’t need his touch.
