Chapter 5

We’ve been in California for two days now and it’s been club after club, shots after shots. Another shot glass reaches my hand and I down it and nod my head to the bartender. He turns and pours me another shot of vodka. At the previous club I drank a shit ton of tequila now it’s vodka.

I put the vodka to my lips, opening my mouth I tip the glass emptying its contents in one go.

“Whitney, you need to slow down on drinking,”Sierra warns me.

I roll my eyes she doesn’t know how fucked up my life is and why I need to drown myself with alcohol and disappear into oblivion. Dwayne texted me during dinner to inform me that Nikolai Volkov will be arriving tomorrow evening, oh he also warned me to be on my best behavior. I will be the good girl daddy wants me to be. I'll even go along with his plans to marry me off to this Nikolai, but tonight? I’m going to soak up as much of my freedom.

Come tomorrow my freedom will be no more.

I reach for my third shot of vodka and Sierra grabs my wrist.

“No more Whitney,” She shakes her head, Aurora standing beside her with judging eyes.

I glare at them both and jerk my hand free of grasp.

“I get told what to do by Dwayne, I don’t need it from you,” I walked away from them and through the crowd of people some were talking others making out while the others on the dance floor were rubbing themselves against each other.

Damn, I forgot my drink.

Long boney fingers grab my wrist and pull me into him. His hair was dyed a dark red color, it was too dark to see his eye color but they looked dark brown and I don't have to look up to see him which is a good thing given the fact I’m pretty buzzed looking up would make me dizzy.

The guy starts moving his arms up and down like some sort of bird. He puts his right foot over his left and spins, drops down, comes up and winks at me. This guy shimmed his chest toward me and away, toward me and away. I must look like some fool watching him with wide eyes and mouth open.

Never in all my life…

When he tried to pull me close to his body I pulled back on instinct then it hit me. Avery told me not to let anyone touch me and I haven’t except Enzo, but I’m meeting the man my father set me up to marry because I dug into his company and found things, now my punishment is marry him or die.

The red head guy tried again to pull me close this time I let him, he rubs his hardon against my front I couldn’t help but feel dirty. I didn’t feel anything down, yonder. Either I’m not turned on by him or I’m just drunk.

The room starts spinning, the guy grabs my ass, pulls me closer to him and he continues to grind against me.

“Let’s get out of here,” He says, grabbing my hand and leading me through the crowd of people.

My head was cloudy, my visions hazy. It wasn't until he opened the side entrance to the club I realized what was happening.

“No,” I tried to pull away from him but he held me tighter.

“Help, somebody….” His hand covers my mouth and pushes my body against the cold brick wall of the dark alley beside the club.

“Shut the fuck up,” He growled, he scanned the area before moving me from the wall back toward the parking lot full of cars.

Oh god.

My vision starts to blur and I try to grab the guy for support when he gets jerked back. I hit the ground with a thud and everything goes dark…

The sound of voices has my head throbbing. I groaned and lifted my heavy eyelids. Sierra and Aurora were talking about something, until I opened my eyes. I glanced around and we were in the limousine. Did I pass out?

A painful throb shoots through my temples and I grab my head.

“The price you pay for getting slobbering drunk,”

“Sierra,” Aurora hissed, Sierra shook her head.

“She needs to know what happened,” Sierra told Aurora.

“You drank way too many shots, got drunk and you let some douchebag grin his junk all over you.”

I did, I remember.

“I’m sorry,” I muttered. I’m not sure what she’s wanting me to say about what happened. I can't change it.

“You should be. You ruined this trip. I decided we’re going home early,” Sierra says, Aurora pouts.

“Sierra come on, I still haven’t seen Santa monica pier,”

Sierra turns toward her.

“Maybe we can drive by on our way to the airport,” She tells Aurora who nods.

Great, I've ruined their fun.

“No,” I told Sierra.

“We’re not leaving. I’m sorry that I fucked up your trip I didn’t mean to ruin your fun. You won’t have to worry, my club days are over,”

Sierra sighs.

“No more drinking?”

“No,” Shook my head, the throbbing only intensifies and the more I talk the more painful it is.

“How drunk was I?”

Aurora chuckles, “drunk enough that the guy you were with was a total weirdo and had zero dance moves,”

“So I didn't imagine him dancing like a bird?”

“Nope,” Sierra says, popping the P then her and Aurora burst into fits of laughter.

“You should have seen your face,” Sierra laughs.

“Yeah you were like..” Aurora mocks my facial expression of wide eyes and mouth hung open and then she laughs some more.

“If it wasn't for Enzo again you would be riding like a bird..” they look at each other and flap their arms and make burn sounds that go straight through me.

What the hell is riding like a bird supposed to mean and why is it so funny?….

Wait…

Enzo?

It wasn’t until I looked beside me that I saw him.

His face was down looking at his phone since I was sitting on his right side. I can see the scars there deep thick scars I can’t help but wonder how he got those.

“Why are you here?” The words fell from my lips Enzo stopped tapping on his screen and tilted his head toward me.

“He’s the one that saved you from the bird man,” Sierra said, Aurora trying to hold a laugh.

They will never let me live this down.

Enzo’s deep green eyes burn into mine.

“Tell something Bambina, what was running through that stupid head of yours when you decided to leave with him?” Enzo tilted his head.

I let him touch me, grind against me, I even let him lead me outside. I knew deep down what was going to happen and part of me wanted to choose the man it would happens with while the other part was screaming at me to run the other way.

“What I was thinking is none of your business,”

Big mistake. Before I could even blink Enzo grabs my face and hovers over top of me. The buckle for the seat belts pressed hard in my ass check with Enzo being heavy more than likely I’ll have a bruise.

“Really?” He says, his grip on my cheeks is painful.

“Yes, what I do is my business,” I stupidly repeated.

If I weren’t sober two seconds ago I sure as hell am now. Enzo's free hand moves to my side, his fingers grazing the skin of my thigh.

“You wanted him to fuck you didn’t you Bambina?”

My mouth opens and closes.

He smirks.

“Is that what you want Bambina? To be fucked?” He said, his fingers itching further up my inner thigh.

I froze. Oh god! I'm a hot sweaty mess and warm liquid soaks my underwear. I felt nothing as the red headed man was grinding his hardon against me but now every sensation is jolted awake.

I open my mouth and his free hand covers it. He leans in to whisper, but was interrupted.

“Oh god, I’m turned on just by watching,” Aurora fans her red cheeks. Sierra was drooling down her chin.

Crap the girls were watching this whole time and I forgot they were there.

Enzo glanced over at the girls and back to me the fire in his deep greens told me this was far from over. He lifts himself up and goes back to his phone. Me? I’m trying to contain the wetness that’s seeping from my underwear. My face is probably twenty shades of red and to top it off I can’t get my breathing under control.

I glare at him and he grins.

Fucking cocky bastard knows the effect he has on me and I get the feeling he’s going to be showing me just how much.
