Awakened Power Without A System

"I don't know why everyone and everything hates me".

"Why is it always like this?

Why was I even born? I don't understand, am I meant to die like this.

No I can't die now, my grandma is still at home waiting for me, if I die now I'll leave her all alone.

No I must fight, I must be strong no matter the course, I must not give up on life, at least for her".

"Ahhh .....!!!"

In a far away land, there was a large city which had fantastic buildings and nice vehicles, everything was nice but there lived a poor and powerless boy who lived with his grandma outside this city.

Where he stayed was surrounded by trees and wild animals including dangerous beasts, and all this was outside this beautiful city called WOBAP, which was also referred as the Wonderland Of Beauty And Power. It was truly for the rich and strong.

It all started on a beautiful morning, when a boy named 'Natsu Vangeance' was at home with his Grandma, helping her with the house chores as he normally do.

He is a very nice and hardworking little boy of about 14 years with a very dark hair and a very beautiful but pale looking eyes.

He looked up to the sun which he used his hands to protect his eyes from the sunlight as he then continues spreading the clothes on the ropes.

"Natsu, please can you help get some fruits and food for me" his Grandma said.

Natsu who was just done spreading the last cloth on the rope replied "Okay grandma I'll be right there" as he immediately rushed to meet his grandma.

"Okay Grandma, I'll be right back" Natsu replied after receiving gold coins from his grandma to get the items as he began running to get the errand done.

"Be careful son and don't get into trouble" his Grandma said as she waves her hands telling Natsu goodbye.

"Yes grandma, you don't need to worry about me, I'll be just fine, so just take care of yourself" Natsu said as he waves back to his grandma.

On his way to get the items his grandma sent him, he met his favorite bullies not too far from the city, who have made his life a living hell.

"What's up brat" Jin said.

Jin is the name of Natsu's bully and the leader of the gang that was there.

"Just leave me alone" Natsu said.

Jin replied angrily "Did you just talk back at me?"

Natsu who is really scared of Jin replied with a very low voice as he stammers saying "It's not like that, I just want to go do some errands for my grandma and when I'm back you can deal with me however you want, please"

"Oh really, so you are now telling me what to do" Jin said as he became more angry with Natsu.

"No it's not like that" Natsu replied with a scared voice.

Jin moved his head as he signals his people to surround Natsu, which they did.

"Okay brat it's time to get moving, unless you want to die" Jin said.

Natsu who was scared said nothing and began to follow them.

They took him very deep into the forest but this time, it wasn't to the usual place they normally take him to. They took him way more deeper than usual as they arrived at a cave.

Natsu who was still afraid of what they're about to do to him asked "Where are we and what are we doing here?"

"Just keep moving brat, unless you want to die" Jin replied.

Natsu immediately stayed quiet as he followed them into the cave which was very cold, dark and scary.

They started hearing strange noises like howls and roars, they could also hear creepy noises of things moving around in the cave. Except from the creepy noises, howls and noise the cave made, the cave was so silent that they could also hear their foot steps which made Natsu unease.

After a while, they saw a bright light in front of them, not knowing what they were about to encounter Natsu swallowed his saliva and started hoping for the best.

Not long after they approached the light and emerged from it, Natsu was shocked by what he saw that he didn't know when he expressed himself.

It was a very beautiful place and they where very beautiful trees with different kind of fruits as it was surrounded by green and beautiful grasses which also had some beautiful roses and other different kind of flowers there, and very close to this beautiful sight was a stream of water flowing so gently through the field as birds made beautiful noises.

Natsu was so stunned that he didn't know when he said "Wow! This place is so beautiful, and everything looks amazing in here"

After saying that Jin immediately interrupted him by saying "Yeah, it's a good place to die isn't it"

With that Natsu immediately felt bad as fear began to settle in his heart. "Let's start going" Jin said as he continued heading forward.

Not so long after that, one of Jin's minion said "I haven't seen anything yet" as Jin replied "Don't worry we will soon find it"

Not knowing what they were talking about Natsu decided to stay calm and keep silent while trying to figure out what they were looking for.

With lots of thoughts coming into his mind as he was trying to figure out what they were looking for. Natsu saw a very big shadow on the ground, looking up, he saw a very big beast flying above their heads, in the clouds.

"Isn't it magnificent!" Jin said.

Immediately, all Natsu thoughts disappeared as the only thing that came into his mind was "Wait, are we going to hunt that thing, if that's so then I'm dead, I don't have any powers so I can't even protect myself, am i going to die, what are they even planning?"

As all this thoughts crossed his mind, Jin asked Natsu "Why are you just standing there, let's get moving"

Natsu who was really scared asked "What are we going to do with that beast?".

Jin replied with a very angry but calm tone saying "When we reach there you will know, now don't ask any questions and let's start moving, unless you want to die"

Natsu as usual was afraid of his life, so he kept quiet and began following them without asking any more questions.

They arrived at a place in the beautiful forest as Jin immediately said "Every one get down" and immediately he said it everyone including Natsu was on the ground hiding behind a rock.

Natsu was still trying to figure out what was happening and immediately Jin said "Isn't it magnificent and beautiful, hey brat, I have a proposal for you"

Natsu who was stunned asked "What is it?"

And Jin immediately came close to Natsu as he wraps his hands around Natsu neck as he then says "Look over there" as he was pointing to a very big nest with beautiful eggs in it and then said, "If you can bring five of those eggs here, I promise you that I will leave you alone to go free and you will never see me again for about five years"

Natsu was intrigued by this deal as he then asked "So if I can bring five of those eggs for you, you will not disturb me or come close to me for five years".

And Jin replied "Yes of course, they are eleven of us including you so if you even bring ten eggs we will not disturb you for ten years, each egg represents how long we will stay away from you"

Immediately Natsu was excited and said "Okay wait here, I'll bring as much eggs as possible"

But as he was about to leave Jin said "Wait the maximum amount of eggs you can bring is ten, because we will have to carry it out of here ourselves. They are different nest here so you can take at least one egg from each nest, so the creature won't notice its absence, and be very careful"

After hearing this Natsu immediately left the place in a hurry, because he was very excited about getting his freedom.

Arriving at the nest, Natsu saw some weird looking creatures, which looked like dragons staying very close to the egg.

He took a deep breath and decided to sneak in and take an egg.

He successfully sneaked an egg out of the creatures nest and took a deep breath as he decided to go back and give Jin and his gang the egg, since the egg was very big and only one person could carry it.

"Here he comes!" One of Jin's minion said as Jin and the rest turned towards Natsu and the egg.

Natsu arrived and gave the egg to them and said "I'll be right back!"

Jin asked "How many are you planning on bringing" as Natsu replied "Ten of course, I'm not planning on seeing you guys ugly faces for a very long time".

Jin was surprised as he then said "Okay if you say so, but just know it's very dangerous"

Natsu was not phased by what he said and left as Jin thought "This cocky little brat, how dare him! I guess I'll have to teach him a lesson before we leave"

Natsu successfully brought ten eggs to them and in excitement one of Jin's minion shouted "We are going to be filthy rich by the time we sell all this" as they carried the egg to leave.

Natsu realized that if he carried one for himself, it will be able to sustain him and his grandma for a long time so he went back.

Jin realized Natsu absence as they were going and immediately figured out what happened as he said angrily "That bastard, he's also going to take an egg for himself, and if he sells it, he will be as rich as all of us, we can't let that happen"

"Yeah, that low life can't be worth the same as us" One of Jin's minions said as they all nodded in agreement.

What should we do now one said, as Jin replied "I have just the plan that will ruin him forever"

"Let's go back" Jin said as he hid his egg and started heading back to the nest. His minions did the same thing and followed him.

As they arrived they saw Natsu carrying an egg out of a nest, immediately he ordered them to attack as he brought out fire from his hands and shot it straight to the creature, another did lightning, another did ice, each of them brought out different elements and attacked the creature.

The creature in shock and pain woke up and let out a loud roar which woke the rest, as one of the creatures saw Natsu with an egg, it let out another loud roar as Natsu said to himself "I'm dead." As he saw Jin and his minions running away from the scene.
