KOURTNEY’s POV.

I let out a little gasp as blood splattered out of Damian’s mouth again, immediately reaching out to him.

“Fuck!” He muttered under his breath as he wiped the blood off his mouth.

“Damian, are you sure you are okay?” I leaned closer to him. Was his wolf that badly hurt that it would lead to bleeding? Or was I somehow the cause of this? Panic crept up in my heart as I held onto him.

“Let’s get you to the pack healer”

“I am fine, Kourtney” he said, “there is no need to actually go to her. It’s my wolf, I will be fine”

“But you didn’t even place your mark on her, why is this happening?”

“You worry too much, Kourtney” Damian said out loud, “you need to relax, okay? I am the alpha of the pack, how could a mere bond break put me in a fit. I will be fine”
