Chapter Sixteen

"She has not stopped crying. What can I do?" The young woman, Lisa said out of frustration while rubbing her temples. She has been walking in circles around the room as Ayah watches her.

She was sitting on a couch. The other elderly people were looking worried as well. Their eyes were sad and pulled downwards.

When Ayah came out of the room as Elio insisted on wanting to spend time with his mother, she felt kind of weird. Perhaps it was because that woman there was just scared of her son.

She did not have a good feeling about this. She cried and cried. As the young woman went inside to check what was wrong, she was sent back by Elio.

The others were worried because that woman or Elio's mother, Hilary did not cry much. Forget crying she did not even show any signs of emotions. She just ate and stared out of the window.

Ayah needed to know what was wrong. If she was his mother, why would she be scared of him? Why would she cry?
