Asher's POV

I decided not to show up in my cubicle in the meeting room. I was in my office where I saw and heard everything that was going on.

I wanted to see how Ashley would handle herself with Regan and she did not let me down. I did not know that she was a cunning fox until I saw her drilling Regan.

I was shocked when she told him that she was the token that he must surrender if he wanted us to consider his offer.

I felt bad for Regan, he was helplessly in love with Ashley while Ashley tossed him about like a doll. How I wished he fell for someone more womanly.

Seeing him suffer made my heart bleed. After the meeting today, I will visit him in his chambers. We would throw things open over drinks and discuss where we stand.
