Adrian’s POV

The call came just before dawn.

A silver messenger hawk ....the council’s old-fashioned way of summoning an Alpha.

Its cry shattered the stillness of my mansion, its wings glinting with faint lunar energy as it perched by my window.

I knew before I even unrolled the scroll that it wasn’t going to be good news.

“By order of the Werewolf Council, the Alpha of Alphas is to appear before the Council at first light.”

I exhaled deeply, my jaw tightening.

First light meant they didn’t want to give me time to prepare.

Or time to say no.

I tossed the scroll aside, reached for my jacket, and stepped out into the cold morning mist.

---

The Council Hall stood like a relic from another age.

Tall, carved pillars rose into the clouds, silver patterns glowing faintly under the light of the moon fading into dawn. The air itself buzzed with energy ...

old, raw, sacred.

The ground was carved with runes that pulsed faintly when I walked across them. They reacted to my presence ...acknowledging the Alpha within me, the power that flowed from the Lunar bond.

Inside, the council chamber was already full.

Ten figures sat on the crescent-shaped dais, their robes heavy with gold and silver threads.

The air was thick with incense and judgment.

And among them ... Matthew.

He met my eyes as I entered, the same mentor who had trained me since I was a cub.

But there was something in his gaze now ....worry, or perhaps guilt.

“Adrian Wolfe,” one of the council elders announced. “Alpha of the Western Region and the Alpha of Alphas. You’ve been summoned.”

“I noticed,” I said calmly, my voice echoing in the stone chamber.

A seat waited for me ... the Alpha’s chair, made of dark obsidian, carved with the symbols of leadership. I sat, not as a servant but as one of power. The entire hall seemed to vibrate when I leaned back.

The Seer was there too ... cloaked in white, eyes clouded like fog.

Her presence filled the room with cold energy.

“Let us begin,” the Head Elder said. “The Seer has received a vision.”

All eyes turned to her.

She rose slowly, her voice light and ethereal, carrying an echo that didn’t belong to this world.

“I have seen the moon bleed silver,” she began. “The Lunar Eclipse shall arrive ... one year from this day.”

A murmur rippled through the hall.

The Lunar Eclipse ...the sacred moment when the balance between werewolves and the Moon Goddess renews. It was a time of great power... and great danger.

The Seer continued, “It is a good sign ...a sign that destiny is in motion. The Moon calls for preparation.”

Another elder spoke up, eyes glinting. “And perhaps it is no coincidence that this sign came only after the General, Lucy, arrived to serve the Alpha.”

I didn’t need a translation to know where this was going.

“So that’s what this is about,” I said, leaning forward. “You think the eclipse revealed itself because of her?”

The elder nodded. “The timing is too precise. The goddess reveals herself through connection. The Lunar bond, perhaps, is forming.”

I laughed quietly, the sound sharp. “The Lunar bond doesn’t form because you want it to. It chooses on its own.”

“Maybe,” said another council member, “but the signs align. Lucy’s arrival… the vision of the eclipse… perhaps the Moon Goddess approves.”

“She’s not my Luna,” I said flatly.

The council exchanged looks. One of them ... an older man with gray hair streaked with white ...

leaned forward. “You haven’t even tried to find out.”

“I have,” I said. “There’s no connection. No mark. No bond. Nothing.”

Silence fell.

Even Matthew shifted uneasily beside them.

Then the Head Elder cleared his throat. “Regardless, the Moon’s call demands unity. The Alpha must be ready to perform the Lunar Sacrifice before the eclipse.”

My jaw tightened. “Sacrifice?”

“The ritual,” another elder clarified. “The renewal of the Alpha’s strength and bond with his Luna. It must be completed before the eclipse or balance may be lost.”

“And you assume Lucy is the Luna?”

“She’s the most suitable,” they replied. “A strong werewolf. Pure-blooded. Chosen by the council. You need to stop delaying fate.”

I could feel my wolf stirring beneath the surface, restless, irritated by the arrogance in their voices.

“I don’t take orders about fate,” I said evenly.

The Head Elder frowned. “Adrian Wolfe, we remind you .... you were raised under our guidance. Your position exists because of the council’s blessing.”

That made me smile, but it wasn’t a pleasant smile.

“You mistake blessing for permission,” I said quietly. “I was chosen by the Moon herself. I didn’t crawl here asking for your crown.”

A low rumble of disapproval rolled through the chamber.

Matthew finally spoke. “Adrian, they mean no disrespect. The council just wants...”

“They want control,” I cut him off. “They’ve wanted it since the day I took my father’s seat.”

The eldest among them slammed his cane against the floor. “You forget yourself, Alpha! The council governs all werewolf clans under the law of the Moon!”

I rose slowly, every movement deliberate.

The temperature in the room seemed to drop.

When I spoke, my voice was calm ... too calm.

“I forget nothing.”

I took a step forward, my gaze sweeping across them.

“You sit here in your stone chamber, quoting laws written by dead wolves who never met me. You talk about fate as if you can command it. But let me remind you who I am.”

The runes beneath my feet flared white, reacting to the rise in my energy.

Every breath I took carried power .... thick, raw, ancient.

“I am the Alpha of Alphas,” I said, my tone echoing across the hall. “The chosen of the Lunar god. I don’t kneel to councils. I don’t take orders from voices that tremble at shadows.”

One of them stood up angrily. “Watch your words, Wolfe. You may be Alpha, but even an Alpha can be replaced.”

That did it.

I moved before anyone could blink ... a blur of speed that left a trail of wind. In a flash, I stood before the elder who dared to threaten me.

He froze.

My eyes glowed silver.

The beast inside me stared back through them.

“Replaced?” I whispered, voice low and dangerous. “Try.”

The elder’s lips parted, but no sound came. The power in the room pressed down on everyone — even Matthew lowered his gaze.

I stepped back, letting the energy fade, but my tone stayed sharp.

“You want a Luna for your own comfort. You want a puppet Alpha who’ll bow to your every decree. But that’s not me. That will never be me.”

“Adrian, please...” Matthew started.

I turned to him, softer but firm. “You taught me honor, Matthew. You told me to lead, not to bow. So why do you sit here letting them treat me like a soldier who forgot his place?”

His face tightened. “Because you’re walking a dangerous line.”

“I was born on that line,” I said.

Then I turned back to the council.

“Listen well. The Moon Goddess does not take kindly to arrogance. I will find my Luna when she chooses to reveal herself. Not when you command it.”

“And if you fail?” the Head Elder asked quietly. “If the eclipse comes and the ritual isn’t complete?”

I met his gaze without flinching. “Then I’ll face the consequence ... not you.”

The silence that followed was heavy, electric.

No one dared to speak again.

I took one last look at Matthew. His expression said everything ... pride, worry, helplessness.

Then I walked to the doors.

Before leaving, I turned slightly, my voice cold but steady.

“Tell the council this,” I said. “If any of you try to interfere in my life again, you won’t be dealing with me. You’ll be dealing with the wrath of the Moon herself.”

And with that, I left ... the great doors slamming behind me.

---

Outside, the dawn had fully broken. The first rays of sunlight painted the sky in gold and crimson.

I stood there for a moment, breathing hard.

The tension in my chest slowly loosened, replaced by a familiar ache ....something that wasn’t anger this time.

It was confusion. Fear, maybe.

For Rose.

For whatever the Moon was planning.

If Lucy wasn’t my Luna ... and I knew she wasn’t — then why had the Moon revealed the Eclipse now?

What if the sign was about Lucy??... Or not?... Or Rose?...

The thought hit me like thunder.

A human girl, surviving what no human could.

The way my wolf reacted to her, the way her scent calmed and burned me at once.

It couldn’t be coincidence.

I clenched my fists.

Maybe the Moon wasn’t testing my leadership.

Maybe she was testing my heart.

---

That night, I stood by my window again, looking out over the city lights ... a world of humans who had no idea what walked among them.

In the reflection, I saw my eyes flash silver.

“Rose,” I whispered into the darkness, “what are you to me?”

No answer came.

Only the faint shimmer of moonlight on glass — quiet, cold, and watching.

  • BETROTHED TO MY LUNA OF TWO WORLDS   98. Forever And Always.

Rose POV The excitement of the moment didn’t end there. The next week. My mother, Caleb, and Matthew guided us to the wedding hall...a grand place, decorated with the blend of wolf tradition and human elegance. Silver crescents and soft lights hung overhead. The air vibrated with energy, and I could feel the other wolves present, acknowledging us, ready to celebrate. Adrian squeezed my hand, and I felt his power radiate through me. I knew I could trust him completely, not just with my life, but with my heart. The seer was there too, calm ,her eyes softening as she saw the bond between us. She had guided us through so much, and now she was witness to our choice, our union. The ceremony began. Adrian and I stepped forward, our paws and hands entwined, facing each other fully. We looked into each other’s eyes...the wolf and the half-wolf, the alpha and the Luna...and we spoke our vows. Not just words, but promises born from hardship, survival, love, and mutual respect. "I pro

Rose POV When I opened my eyes, all I saw was… him. ..Adrian. His face hovered above mine, relief shining in his eyes, mixed with the sharp intensity of an alpha who had feared the worst. “You’re awake,” he said softly, his hand brushing my hair back. His voice...calm, warm, unwavering...was a lifeline. I blinked slowly, trying to take in the scene. The streets were gone. The chaos was gone. The smell of blood and fire faded. And yet… I could feel the lingering heat of the light I had released, the echoes of power rippling inside me. “Did… did we win?” I asked, my voice hoarse, barely audible. Adrian’s eyes softened. “Yes. You… we won. But you’ve been asleep for two weeks.” “Two… weeks?” My chest tightened. My mind spun. Two weeks gone in a flash? “Yes,” he said, his thumb brushing my cheek. “The vampires are defeated. Some humans were lost, yes… but mostly, they were protected. And the rest… humans don’t know anything. The government has been guided. They think it wa

  • BETROTHED TO MY LUNA OF TWO WORLDS   96. The Light Of The Luna.

Rose POV Everything around me was chaos. I could feel it vibrating through the ground beneath me, in the air around me, in my chest. Wolves were falling. Humans were screaming. Vampires… their eyes burned with red fire, teeth bared, claws slashing anything that moved. I could hear the crack of bones, the tearing of flesh, the roar of alpha wolves trying to hold back the tide. I wanted to run, but my legs felt heavy. My heart pounded so fast I thought it might burst. And all I could think was… I am the Luna. I am the bridge between the worlds. And yet… I can’t save anyone. I can’t stop this. Fear gripped me. The weight of everyone depending on me… it was suffocating. Then Kate landed me a blow...I fell. And then, almost instinctively, I focused. I closed my eyes. I felt the pull of something deep inside me, something I had barely understood until now : my connection to the spiritual realm, to the Luna power I had carried all along. I whispered into the chaos: "Luna spirit

  • BETROTHED TO MY LUNA OF TWO WORLDS   95. The Red Night.

Adrian POV The sky turned red. Not slowly. Not gently. One moment the night was dark like any other night, and the next moment the moon changed. A deep red light spread across the sky, painting the world in a strange color. The Blood Moon had come. Humans looked up in curiosity. News channels spoke calmly, calling it a rare natural event. Scientists explained it. People took pictures. Some even celebrated it. They didn’t know. They didn’t know what it meant. They didn’t know that this night decided the fate of their world. All the wolves gathered. Not in the human world. But in the spiritual realm. The air there felt heavy. Sacred. Powerful. Every wolf stood in their true form. No lies. No hiding. Just strength. Just instinct. Just spirit. Rose stood beside me. Caleb stood behind us. The strongest wolves from all over the world surrounded us. Alphas. Leaders. Warriors. Everyone was ready. The Seer had prepared the chants. Rose and I stepped forward together. O

  • BETROTHED TO MY LUNA OF TWO WORLDS   94. Before The Blood Moon.

Rose POV I never imagined my life would turn into this. A few weeks ago, I was just a normal girl. I worried about work, traffic, bills, and simple things. Now, I stood in the middle of a large training field, surrounded by powerful wolves, learning how to survive a world I didn’t even know existed years ago. The morning air was cool, but my body was warm from movement. “Again,” Caleb said. I exhaled slowly and adjusted my stance. Adrian stood a few steps away from me, watching carefully. Matthew stood beside him, his arms folded, his eyes sharp and observant. I moved forward and attacked. Caleb blocked easily. Too easily. Before I could recover my balance, he tapped my shoulder lightly. “If that was a real fight,” he said calmly, “you’d be on the ground already.” I groaned. “I know.” Matthew stepped forward. “You’re thinking too much,” he said. “Stop trying to fight perfectly. Just react.” I nodded. I was tired. But I didn’t want to stop. Because this wasn’t practi

  • BETROTHED TO MY LUNA OF TWO WORLDS   93. The Bond Accepted.

Adrian POV The night felt different. Heavy. Sacred. Alive. The full moon hung high in the sky, brighter than I had ever seen it. Its silver light spread across the sacred grounds like a blessing from the Moon Goddess herself. Wolves had gathered from everywhere. Alphas. Betas. Leaders. Elders. The strongest wolves across territories stood in silence around the shrine. No one spoke loudly. No one moved unnecessarily. Everyone understood what tonight meant. This ritual would decide everything. My fate. Her fate. Our future. I stood at the front of the shrine, my hands relaxed at my sides, but inside me, power moved restlessly. It had been unstable since the last ritual failed. My body had recovered, but my spirit still carried the strain. Beside me stood Rose. She looked nervous. Her fingers kept moving slightly, like she was trying to stay calm. Her breathing was slow but not steady. I glanced at her. She met my eyes. There was fear there. But there was also tru
