"What are you doing, Victor Gunner?" I cried in outrage when he gripped my wrist and forced me away.

I kept struggling against his manacle hold, but because he caught me off guard, he had a better advantage than I did.

It also did not help that he seemed determined in what he had set out to do, considering the firm set of his jaw.

But while I let him drag me away, I kept throwing him threats.
