This is a post to apologise to those who unlocked the same chapter yesterday. Due to network issues, I accidentally uploaded chapter chapter 76 twice.

Truth be told, I corrected it to chapters 77 immediately but guess the system is experiencing some bugs and it haven't been approved yet.

So I dedicate this free chapter to all my readers who unlocked chapter 76 twice yesterday as a way of apologizing. Once again, it wasn't intentional.

"Mommy!! "

The quadruplets exclaimed in excitement and immediately ran to Lena who was lying on the bed.

"My babies " Lena chuckled with happy tears and widened her arms to welcome the quadruplets who jumped on her in a tight hug. The short woman hugged them back immediately and didn't even realize she was now crying due to how happy she was.

"We've missed you so much, Mommy! " The quadruplets chuckled and pulled out of the hug.

"I've missed you all so much " Lena mumbled in tears and kissed them all on their faces.

"How have my babies been, huh? "

"We are all fine, Mommy. Grandma is taking very good care of us! " Little Ava hypered making Lena chuckle.

" But why are you crying, Mommy? Are these tears of joy? " Evans held Lena's face with his tiny hands.

" Yes. Mommy is so happy to see you guys again, that's why I'm crying "

" You don't have to cry, Mommy. Because, now that we're here, we're going to make you smile again " Aida wiped Lena's tears with her little fingers.

"Exactly. Daddy told us that you were sick and that you rejected your food when you woke up so we rushed all the way here to make sure you don't miss your food and to help you get better again " Ryan added and Lena looked up at Denzel who had a faint smile on his lips.

The short woman smiled at him before turning her attention back to the kids.

"So now that we are here, you can't say no to your food. Don't you know how important it is for us to eat especially we're sick? " 

" Do you want to fall sicker and do you want us to call the doctor so he can inject your bumbum with all those big needles? " The quadruplets cautioned and Lena almost laughed. 

She nodded negatively.

"No. I'm sorry. I won't reject my food again, please don't call the doctor " The short woman pouted.

" Then eat your food. Come on, open your mouth " 

Lena chuckled and gladly opened her mouth.

And that was it;

The quadruple fed their mother who was more than happy to be fed by them, till she was satisfied.

By the time they were done putting up a drama, Lena was already dying of laughter and had forgotten all her problems. She didn't care anymore.

Denzel on the other hand was happy to see Lena smile once again. He couldn't remember the last time he saw her smile. He guessed he was so buried in his own feelings that he didn't even care to notice all the stress she has been going through.

But that's enough!

He wouldn't let something like this repeat itself again. It was his responsibility to take care of his wife and make her happy and he was more than ready to correct everything that has went wrong.

He was going to do the right thing and by the time he will be done, he will make sure everyone pay for throwing all those shady comments at his wife.

Lena stared at her reflection in the mirror with a sad smile. She was taking off her clothes to go take her bath.

The quadruplets were now in their rooms after making sure to enlighten her day with their dramas. They will be staying with her for the rest of the week.

But despite being happy, Lena was also sad. Every hurtful comment she read online kept hunting her mind and ruining her happiness. She was also sad because she thought Denzel was still angry with her.

She couldn't help but wonder if he regretted marrying her. She couldn't help but be sad about the fact that just like those people commented, she was nothing compared to Harley. 

She wasn't as beautiful as Harley neither did she have any fame like her. She could barely even save her father's company from going bankrupt. She could barely even retrieve everything that rightfully belonged to her from the clutches of her evil stepmother and sister.

She was equally as useless to Denzel. Truly, she didn't deserve to be his wife.

Thinking about all of these, a strand of tear rolled down her cheeks but this time around she didn't wipe it off. She let more of her tears flow freely.

She was so lost in thoughts that she didn't realize when Denzel entered the room. Well, not until he circled his arms around her waist in a hug and placed a deep kiss on her neck.

Lena's tensed body relaxed at the feeling of Denzel's hold. 

Denzel trailed the kiss up to her ear before placing a kiss on her earlobe. Lena closed her eyes and smiled faintly.

She couldn't deny she misses Denzel's touch.

"What do you think you're doing, Lena? " Denzel's voice came out husky.

"What are you doing standing here, naked? Are you trying to seduce me because you know I can't resist you? " The cold man grinned naughtily.

Slowly he took a hand and ran it through her soft skin, leaning her hair on one shoulder.

His touch sent energies of waves in Lena's lit skin and she threw back her head on his shoulder. She gripped him tight and closed her eyes.

"Denzel... " She moaned subtly and the cold man smirked in satisfaction.

He tilted and ran a hand on her pale thighs up to her waist, holding it firmly. Lena closed her eyes and relaxed back fully.

"You're beautiful, Lena " Denzel whispered and buried his face in her neck, taking in her feminine scent which made him smile.

"I miss you "

Hearing that, Lena blushed and smiled. She turned to face Denzel before looking down. Denzel held her jaw and tilted her head up to stare him dead in the eyes.

"Do you want to say something? " He placed a kiss on the side of her lips and Lena nodded slightly.

"Go ahead, I'm ready to hear you out. I promise, I won't shout at you "

Lena bit her lips and looked down in shame.

"I'm... I'm sorry " She mumbled and sniffed back her tears.

"I'm sorry for hiding everything from you, Denzel. I'm sorry for lying to the whole world about our marriage. I'm sorry for being selfish and not thinking about how my lie would make you feel "

"I'm sorry for making you feel like you mean nothing to me. I'm sorry... for not being the wife you deserve " Lena bit her lips to hold back her tears.

"I'm sorry I'm not as pretty as Harley. I'm not even near her beauty in any way. I'm not as famous as she is, I'm just a nobody compared to her. I'm sorry for not being the wife everyone wants you to have. I'm sorry for being useless and for being nothing but a burden " 

"I'm really sorry for everything, Denzel. But please don't leave me, don't hate me, please. I can't bare you being angry with me. Punish me however you want to but please, don't hate me. Please, forgive me " 

"I'm sorry, I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to lie, please forgive me "

Denzel watched Lena break down in tears and it felt like a sharp knife was thrusted into his heart and was cut to a million pieces.

He couldn't believe those hate comments affected Lena this much to the extent she now feels like she was a burden to him.

This wasn't the Lena he knew. This wasn't his wife.

His Lena was strong and didn't care about what people thought or said. But now, those imbeciles have broken her self-esteem. She's now so broken that she thinks she is nothing and it's all because of him.

Denz cupped Lena's face.

"Look at me, Lena " He spoke softly and Lena looked up, her eyes brimming with tears.

"Why will you think of something like that? Why will I ever hate you, Lena? I know I was angry with you but that doesn't mean I hate you. Don't even think of that " He caressed her face and wiped her tears with his thumbs.

"Then what about Harley? Everyone thinks you're better off with her and I think they're right. I'm nothing compared to her "

" Then what about me? Have you asked me what I think and what I want? "

Lena nodded negatively and sniffed back her tears.

"I want you, Lena. You and only you. I don't want Harley. She's my past and I had forgotten about her a long time ago. You're my present, Lena and I don't think it makes sense to mix my past with my present "

"Yes, I once loved her but that was then. I don't feel anything for her anymore. You're the woman I love now and want to be with and you can never be Harley, never. You're Lena, my Lena "
