Chapter Eight

Alex.

After thoroughly going over the new revised plan, my assistant left to prepare for our departure. I looked over to see Maya sleeping on the couch, her back facing me.

I walked over and took my jacket and covered her with it. I stood over her for a moment, my hands in my pocket as i watched her. She was so beautiful, her brows were neat and thick, she had a small nose and full lips. She was sleeping so peacefully.

I bent down to brush a trand if hair off her face and kissed her on the forehead. I stared at her a little longer.

A knock on the door took my attention from Maya, my assistant was reminding me it's time to go. He looked at Maya sleeping on the couch, "Should we wake her up?"

I looked back at Maya, who was peacefully sleeping and smiled, "No just let her sleep."
