I tried to remain steady. Not again would I let them do something crazy to me. If she thought she would ruin me, then maybe she had to know that that wouldn't be possible.
"You don't have the right to cancel the offer," I said. Though I was quite fearful and hurt, I managed to put on a bold look.
"Why? I'm a representative of the company, which means I can decide on whether or not this continues," Becca clarified.
"Please, you can't just end this offer." Seth sighed hard. "I understand you're angry cause she's being rude, but that shouldn't stop us from working together. We can sort things out."
