Alya looked at the man and ignored him taking a sip of her drink.

"Seems like you don't recognize me" he chuckled and hurriedly took a shot.

"I'm Jeremy from Xeparando." He brought out his hand for a shake but was ignored. "I'm sorry for everything, the dismissal and-"

"Can you at least shut it? I'm trying to think here." She lifted her drink and left for a different table. The barman shot daggers at Jeremy who only smirked and followed her.

"There is no need to run away, we are in the same boat. Distressed and unlucky" he chuckled and crossed his arm over his chest. Alya sighed and took a sip.

"I'm quite more successful than you. Quit comparing me to you... asshole! Jeremy kept looking at her while she gazed at him with much anger displayed on her face.
