"Such an egoist!" Emily muttered under her breath.

"I heard you!" Roman smirked.

" If you didn't, you would be surprised." Emily shrugged, "because it was meant to be heard."

Roman scoffed and began walking in the opposite direction towards the exit

"So when do we start?" Emily asked, causing him to halt.

"I'm ready, even now." Roman replied.

"I don't have my tools." Emily raised her brows, "And we need an empty room."

"You can use my office, and about the tools;" Roman told her, "just say the words and they'd be available at your disposal."

Emily's brows rose a bit higher questioningly, but she chose to say nothing.

"Let me know when you're up to it." Roman told her.

The earlier she attended to him, the more advantageous it was for her. First, she would get a cure which excited her, even by barely thinking about it and second, she would get out of here and resume her normal life. She was certain that the whole office was worried about her.
