Charlie finally takes my blood after what feels like an excrutiating long time. I bandage up my arm to cover the needle patch. Charlie says that they should know the results in a minute or two. I nod my head and wait beside Andrew while Charlie gets the results. "What do you think will be my powers?" I ask drew."Well, I cannot say but healing is definitely one of them," he says."Does that mean I can survive injuries?" I ask curiously."Yes, I guess." Andrew's POV:I make my way to her living room and sit in the middle of the couch. She takes a seat at the far end of the couch."So, what do you want to watch?" Ana asked."What movies do you have?" I asked."Well, I don't have any but N*****x sure does." She replies, her voice thick with sarcasm."You know what I mean?" I say and open N*****x."We could watch notting hill." It's a typical morning for me, and after taking care of aunt, I get outside and wait for Drew to take me to school. Drew's car rounds the driveway and he gets out."Good morning." Drew brings the first aid box and gently takes my hand in his hands. He kneels down in front of me and looks into my eyes. "Are you okay?" Drew asked ,words somehow comforting yet commanding."Not at my greatest, right now." I murmur."It's okay. Now, I am gonna softly take the glass shards out. Okay?" He asks me."Hmhm." I nod my head and shut my eyes tight because of anticipation."One. Two." He takes one shard out and I let out a piercing cry."Stop. Don't please." I say."Look at me. Don't think about the pain. Okay?" He says.I grip his other hand with my safe hand and press harder when he takes another shard out, this time a small one. This cycle continues and all the while I have his hand in a death grip. The first thing I see when I open my eyes is Drew softly moving his hands up and down my legs."Ah. I see you're awake.""Hello to you too." I mutter and rub my eyes."If you are all set, should we go inside the library?" he asked me."Yeah. " I stretch my arms and open the car door. As I get outside, I feel blood rushing to my head, making me lose my balance."Ana?" Drew asks as he clutches my arm before I can slip. Andrew's POV:When I reach home , I see charlie waiting in the living room. I open the boot of the car and take the artifacts out and hand it to him."Did something happen today?" Charlie says as I am about to head upstairs."Yes. Did you see it?" I asked him."I felt like she was in pain or something like that." "She had an outburst of power. Broke the crystal pot so I bandaged her hand. Then we reached the library and she felt dizzy, although I think that was due to hunger." I told him.Ana really scared me when she broke that pot with her hands. Thank God she has healing powers, otherwise it would have been a different case all along. I can't imagine or want her in pain. I couldn't control myself in the library too. She was curious and the way she reacted after seeing the novels, her innocence and sweetness tipped me over. As soon as I make my way out of the class. Jer says, "You okay?" "About what?" I ask. "The whole Maurel incident?" He asks. "Yes. I mean no. She was the first one who made rumours that I slept with you and when the truth went out that I am a virgin, she goes around talking about it as it is a brilliant topic for discussion." Next morning I wake up to messages from Drew. I sit a little straighter and open his chat.DREW:"Good Morning.
