Chapter 9

She parted her moist lips apart letting a deep breath escape through her mouth. He stared at her beautiful dove eyes for a while, he looked through her brown-rimmed eyeglasses. She had a beautiful sparkling blue eyes like that of an ocean.

Looking at her made him feel like he had come across her some time ago. But he couldn't place a guess, it couldn't be the same girl he had seen at the bar, "she had black eyes not blue." He mumbled under his breath.

"Yeah, sure I'm fine!!" She snapped again bringing him out of his thoughts. "I'm sorry." She mumbled.

"Oii..uhmmm your bag." He muttered as he stretched his hand to give her, her bag which was about dropping down.

"Are you sure about that??" He asked as he scanned through her thoroughly like he was searching for a scratch. "Actually it's my fault, I wasn't just concentrating… I'm sorry." He apologized, taking the blame.

She stepped backwards from him as she adjusted her eyeglasses and then her gown which had gone up a little, exposing her oily thighs.

"Yes I'm totally fine." She smiled broadly. "Oi!!" She chuckled. "Actually it's all my fault because I was trying to catch up with my friends over there!!" She said, pointing at Rebekah and Stefan who were lost chitchatting.

"Um no, it's my fault."

"Naahh it's not. Actually it's mine."

"But you were the one who went crashing down. So I'm the one at fault here!!" He chuckled lightly.

She arranges her brown bulb wig which was in a mess already. She went backward as she spinned round for some couple of times and then she spread her arms wide apart as she giggled babily. "You see?? I'm totally fine, fine and more than fine." She chuckled as she looked at me, "so you don't need to get worried or take blames like you just did something really bad after all we both look completely fine." She mumbled.

He smiled at her how funny she acted. "Your hair is beautiful!" He complimented her as he watched her try so hard not to smile. "I see you are here to have some fun and ease your mind from the bustling city." He mumbled as he looked at her beautiful eyes.

She inhaled deeply as she smiled like she was trying to ease her racing heart. "Thank you so much Mr for your compliment, I really have to go now before my friends starts looking for me." She smiled as she looked inside the bar through the mirror and then returned her gaze to him. "Bye!" She muttered as she walked passed him heading to the bar.

"You're welcome!" He gasped under his breath. "Was I too clingy?? Because she sounded a bit tired like I was talking too much." He cursed under his breath. He turned back as he looked at her as she walked into the hallway that led to the bar. She had stopped where her friends were.

He touched his coat's pockets as he searched for his phone and then his trouser's pocket as well.

"Sir? Your phone!!" His bodyguard muttered as he stretched his phone to him.

"Oii.. did I give it to you??" He chuckled lightly as he scratched his hair.

"Not at all sir, it fell to the ground when you saved that lady from crashing down." He mumbled.

"Heyy!!" Blaze hit me from behind. "I see you're completely lost staring at some nerdy girl." He teased, poking both sides of Orpheus' stomach.

"Come on Blaze!! Can you not be like this all the time??" He shrugged. "Don't just tease me today, actually we clashed together." He muttered.

"Oww… now I understand!" He chuckled. "I never knew humans now played clash of the Titans as well." He laughed hard.

"So where is Dawn??" He asked wearing a long face.

"Oi, Dawn, she's swimming in the VVIP suite, having lotta fun in there. You never told me you booked that suite. Lot of champagne waiting for us to pop." He sneered.

"You all better keep her safe because father won't be happy if any harm comes close to his princess." He shrugged as he placed his phone inside his pocket.

"You have absolutely nothing to be worried about. After all you no longer move with incompetent humans anymore but vampires capable enough." He chuckled.

"She's left with just a vampire. You know she hasn't fully embraced her powers yet and she needs to be well protected for now." He sneered.

"Noted boss!" He teased him. "So are you still going to be waiting for us in the car??" He asked.

"Oh hell no!" He responded as he peeked at the nerdy girl he has bumped into some minutes back.

Blaze had turned back swiftly to see who was the special person distracting Orpheus. He chuckled as he saw the nerdy girl who was busy laughing with her two friends.

"Oi, now I know why you're no longer leaving." He chuckled. "You want to make it up with her tonight??" He teased, "But make sure you wear protection, hehe."

"Come on Blaze, don't sound so pathetic. I just want to stay back so that I can watch over Dawn so no harm come near her." He defended as he returned to the bar.

Blaze and the other bodyguard had accompanied him from behind. The bar was extremely crowded and the music was high enough to get someone dumb for days.

"I'll be at the counter. You both can go ahead and look after Dawn!!" He smiled as he looked at Blaze.

"Sangria??" A feminine voice mumbled.

"Umm and a touch of vodka in mine!!" A male voice followed immediately.

"Wow, I never believed that Garbina could be this awesome." A lady mumbled.

"Exactly, it's purging us of our sorrows!!" The male figure laughed hard.

"I thought it was just some freaky Spanish people that controlled the bar!" The first lady chuckled.

It was now becoming noisy for Orpheus. He recognized the first voice, it reminded him so much of the funny nerdy lady that had bumped into him over thirty minutes ago.

He had turned back with a broad smile as he was dumbstruck.

"You??" He gasped out as his eyes widened.
