Orpheus Bathory.
"Bing!"
"Bing!"
"Bing!"
The alarm clock kept on blaring really hard, hitting against my head so badly. I groaned as I kept on turning recklessly on my bed.
I had taken a whole lot of vodka and few shots of sangria with the nerdy lady. I wasn't expecting her to be at the Garbina bar yesterday.
"You??" I was left dumbstruck as I saw the girl from the Trenton's bar I had saved few days back.
I couldn't remember her underneath her eyeglasses, her bulb hair and the nerdy cloth she wore.
The moment I saw her two friends I remembered who she was and where we had seen.
"Uhmm.." i chuckled softly as they all looked at me as I called out to her. "Uhmm!!" I scratched my hair a bit trying to remember her name so fast. "We met at the bar. Luci.."
"Lucinda!" She completed it as she smiled lightly.
She looked pretty in her nerdy look. I felt aderaline rush over me. "Oh yeah!" I mumbled. "You look really beautiful tonight beneath those glasses of yours." I heaved a deep breath as I maintained eye contact with her.
"Don't flatter me Mr." She giggled babily. "Flattering doesn't work on me." She shylishly turned away as she took her sangria.
"Get me a shot too!" I turned to the bar man.
"Okay sir!" He smiled as he took out a glass cup to get me a shot of the sangria. "I see you are enjoying yourself." I mumbled.
"Huh??" She turned back to me.
The music and cheering of drunk and over excited people were now much so we couldn't hear ourselves without shouting on top of our voices.
"I said, I see you are enjoying yourself tonight!!" I bellowed.
"Oh ohhh, yes I am. It's really fun in here." She giggled as she sipped her sangria.
I loved her wholly and I couldn't just focus.
"Sir, your order!" The bar man smiled as he snapped me out of my fantasy which was already going smoothly with a piano background.
"Oh thank you!!" I smiled. "Wow, it tastes really great."
"Oh!" She mumbled. "It's my favorite drink. So what do you like??" She muttered.
"Whiskey goes better." I smiled as I drank the whole sangria.
I had dragged my chair closer to hers and she had turned immediately to look at me. Our face almost collided together as her breathe ran through between my nose and upper lips.
Her breath scented really nice. Her moist lips allured me. For a while we were both lost as we stared at each in that close range.
"Oh! um sorry." She chuckled as she moved her face. I am definitely going to get drunk tonight!!" She cursed.
"And I pray you fall into my arms when you get drunk." I whispered into her ears as she chuckled softly.
"Don't be so pathetic. I'm not going to get drunk anytime soon." She smiled as she ordered for another glass of the sangria. "And you never told me your name, seem an important work came in!" She belched. "Oh sorry!" She chuckled softly.
"Orpheus by name." I mumbled.
We went on talking for a lengthy period before we had hopped in to the dancing hall as we joined her friends who were already dancing.
We both danced and drank together. It was the happiest moments of my life, I felt like a human for the first time and wished I could remain here on earth and live like everyone of them here.
"Fvck! fvck! fvck!!" I growled as I forced myself up from my bed.
It was already past 8 AM in the morning. I had picked up my phone to see 5 missed calls from Mr. Redd.
He had dropped a voicemail for me. It was from the coven. They needed my attention.
I stood up from my bed as I was naked with my d!ck dangling as I walked into my bathroom to go shower and get dressed.
I stood under the shower as I allowed the water calm my aching head. I was having a hurting stomach from yesterday's night.
I hurriedly came out from the bathroom as my phone rang. It was still Mr. Redd calling.
"Good morning Mr. Redd!" I greeted as I dropped the phone on the cabinet as I cleaned my body with my fluffy towel.
"Morning Orpheus!" He mumbled from the other end with a hoarse voice. "You made no report yesterday as well. It's been three days now and the coven have not received any info from you about how the mission is going." He sneered in disappointment.
"I'm sorry about that Mr. Redd." I apologized as I picked up my phone. "I decided to stay low for now after the last attack few days back. I can't let any harm come near Dawn." I heaved a deep breath.
"Your security has been changed. You're more than protected now by vampires. I advice you don't get carried away by the human world." He gasped like he has been tailing me down for some time now.
"Sure!"
"And you must prepare yourself because the council wants to hear from you. I believe you saw my voicemail."
"Yes. I'm already preparing to leave." I snapped with so much irritation. "Can't they just trust me??" I cursed beneath my breath as I ended the call.
I had gone down to join Blaze downstairs. He was in the kitchen with Dawn. She was having her breakfast while Blaze watched her eat.
"Good morning master!" Blaze greeted.
"Good morning brother!" Dawn greeted as she continued with her breakfast.
I sat down on the dining chair as the maid brought my breakfast. "Thank you!" I mumbled as I sent her away.
"I will be leaving to see the coven. My attention is needed in the coven." I mumbled.
"Will I be coming along??" Dawn asked wearing a broad smile.
"Not at all. You've to focus and study hard. I'll extend your greetings to father." I smiled as I focused on my meal. "I'll drop you off today."
"Yayy!!" She shouted as she hurriedly ate her food so she could join me as I leave.
It's been a really great journey on my first book.❤️😍 It's now on first POVs I hope you enjoy it. ❤️🌈
Orpheus Bathory. "Salute! Salute!" "Salute! Salute!" An ascendant mumbled as they all stood up as Vladimir walked in. I was seated at the lesser throne as the son of the king. He had lifted up his hands and as he brought it down we all sat down. Elders and high ranked ascendants had assembled as they all took their respective seats in rank. "What do we have for today??" Vladimir muttered. His face was blank and his eyes were like a burning inferno. "The Red Devil's Dynasty Coven wants an alliance with us." One of the ascendants spoke up as he stood up. "An ally??" Lawst snorted, bellowing in anger. "That's an insult to the Lethal bloodsuckers. They do not deserve an ally with us after all troubles caused by them in times past." Jezebel cursed. She was the high ranked witch in our coven. She had watched me grow after my mother died. She embraced me like her own because I was naturally loved by dark magic. Every coven had a witch who intervened for them. They were hybri
Lucinda Orlok. "Come on Lucinda, wait for me!!" She snapped as she hurriedly rushed out from the bathroom with a wet body. "Why are you always in a haste lately?? For me, the bar is completely tiring these days. Customers just keep increasing." She cursed under her breath. I stayed mute like I wasn't hearing her. I kept on arranging my purse, making sure I don't leave anything behind. "Durrh!!" She snapped as she cleaned her body dried before applying her pomade. Her fair was a glittering fair which made her skin glitter so well. Ever since madamé Elisabeta took me in the secret house, Rebekah has been a very good friend. I remember when I was first admitted in the secret house, I was the only vampire-werewolf hybrid and I had my wolf and my vampire to contend with as they were always conflicting. Adriana was a bully. Her vampiric strength was really mind blowing and she would bully the newly admitted vampires. She had her special clique she always moved with and for some reas
Orpheus Bathory. I drove into my residential building with a new oxblood Rolls Royce Boat Tail. I had just returned from the coven. By magic, portals could be created to lead us to the covens directly. "O.M.G!!!" Blaze gasped out excitedly as he saw me drive into the mansion. The compound was big enough to house up to 100 humans. It was a special mansion meant for the king and high ranked elders of the coven but father had given it to me since I was on a very special mission and would ascend the throne soon as the new vampire king. "Brother!!" Dawn screamed out as she rushed down to where I parked the car. She wasn't interested in me after all as she kept on walking round the car over and over again. "Wow!! Just wow." He sneared. "Don't tell me this is your new machine??" He scowled as he scanned the car. He kicked the tyre twice to confirm how awesome it was. I stepped down from the car with a long face. Lawst wouldn't easily give up on the throne. I had double-crossed him t
Lucinda Orlok.I was already done with brewing madamé Elisabeta's coffee already so I just had to leave it for Rebekah to go serve her. The bar wasn't really occupied so I had seen him immediately I walked into the bar. He was seated a bit far from the canter today, he was close to the glass window as he crossed his left leg on his right leg as he kept scanning outside. He was on a black suit as usual but this time he was wearing a black shirt inside which wasn't properly buttoned completely which exposed his full tattooed neck and the gold chain he was wearing. The gold chain glittered from the distance. I remembered the dress code of his bodyguards."Oh my.!" Rebekah poked the side of my stomach from behind. I vibrated a bit. "Gosh!!" I sighed. "Can you stop poking me like that always?? You keep scaring me." I scowled as I turned back to look at Orpheus."Isn't that his bodyguard from the Garbina bar days back??" She tapped my shoulder as she pointed at the oxblood Rolls Royce Bo
Lucinda Orlok."You have been chosen to lead this mission Lucinda Orlok." Madamé Elisabeta snapped as she arranged her glasses on. I don't know what was so important with those glasses of hers but she pampered it so much like it was her life. "But madamé…" I tried opting out.She had interrupted me immediately, "It's from the coven. You're among the best, the third best we have. We cannot send Rebekah Maj or Stefan Malfoy on this mission because they have to protect the secret house at all costs.""Why me when we have Alaric who could also lead the mission??" I shrugged. "You already chose your fate. The success of this mission would determine if the secret house would be permitted to sponsor your life outside the secret house." She muttered as she stood up from her wooden chair which had drawings of vultures in a gravesite. "And if I get captured??" I asked to clear all doubts."Lucinda Orlok??" She sighed. "We owe your late father, Lazarus a lot. You're my responsibility. I'll a
Lucinda Orlok."Capture them!!!" I heard the rusty old voice echo in the forest. We had started the mission the exact moment one of the vampires had disrupted my conversation with Stefan."Go, inform the alpha that some pathetic vampires has breached our territory!!" The gamma commanded as two of the pack warriors ran so fast with their werewolf strength to inform the pack. "You must secure the perimeter at all means. Kill as many as you can kill and capture those who willfully submit themselves to you!!" His voice echoed through again as the woods left shrieking sounds. We had all dispersed in terror. I couldn't control them as they fled in different directions just to hide from the angry werewolves. It was a mission we ought to carry out. It meant a lot to me as this determined if the secret house would be responsible for my welfare when I finally get to leave the walls of the secret house. I had seen few werewolves moving directly to me. I had to run into the woods with my vamp
Orpheus Bathory. "We have to leave tonight.!" Blaze snapped me out of my fantasies that were already playing over and over again in my head.I had given her my card. Soon enough I will win her heart and she will forever be mine being bound to me. "I heard the Invisible Claws Park was the supreme park in the woods here." He scowled. "If we can get to them and then penetrate their prison and get just the vampire-werewolf hybrid." He snorted as he drank his vodka."Prepare the vampires.!" I ordered as he exited just immediately to get them ready. "Hehe.! I won't be available in the bar tonight so shhhh… don't come visiting because they won't be any sweet espresso like me. Just remain good and I will be back tomorrow and I will surely call, you. Xoxo❤️." It was a voicemail from Lucinda. Hearing her voice sent me all excited as I could feel some goosebumps. Goosebumps?? I was a vampire after all. It was a full moon night and this was my biggest opportunity to get done with my mission a
Orpheus Bathory."You ruined it all completely yesterday.!" Blaze scowled. "That was our only chance and you wasted it. Definitely the coven would have no option than to summon you again and this time around Lawst definitely is going to send his son.""Like I care right now." I sneered as I continued reading the fashion mag I was reading. "I did what I had to do yesterday and by the way I'm not so dumb not to know when I see a virgin vampire-werewolf hybrid, I didn't feel anything yesterday.!" I snapped, I raised my head to see him staring at me. "I know you are disappointed but still have to remain loyal to me." I mumbled."I was born for that I guess." He sighed softly. [Phone beeps]I was totally tired from yesterday night. I recognized the lady from yesterday. I couldn't risk her knowing that I was some fiery vampire. It's been three months away since I bumped into Lucinda who had slowly turned to the woman of my dreams. Every single night all I end up craving for is to be clo
