The hard slam of Violette's head against the floor alerted Marie in the living room, jolting her out of her deep sleep.

"Ma'am are you ok?" She asked, loud enough for her to hear, but no reply came — the silence was too scary.

"Ma'am!" She gasped, rushing into the kitchen.

Her soul nearly flew out of her her body... No, it really flew out of her when she saw Violette lying unconsciously on the kitchen ground.

The apple juice that spilled out of her cup already flooded to the small blood that flowed out of her head, mixing with it, and the glasses of the cup littered around her.

"M...ma.. ma'am!!!"
